Sources

Saying "Mod [whoever's] twitter" in the edit summary is not proper sourcing. For one thing, no one is going to check through the edit history on the offchance that whoever put the unverified information bothered to put a source in the history. Secondly, we need a link to the actual tweet, not just a vague starting point to look at.

If you don't know how to source things properly, pop into [[Special:Chat]] and ask someone for some help. Until you do source that desert quest statement correctly, I will be removing it from the quest series page. AnselaJonla 15:40, January 25, 2014 (UTC)

Just to add to Ansela's point, technically ye need 1 more mainspace edit to be eligible for the power (this includes archived mainspace edits) but feel free to request it anyway, I'm sure we can make an exception, and ye can also apply for the rollback power if ye decide to go for it Ciphrius Kane 14:58, May 29, 2017 (UTC)

Sounds good, appreciate you kickstarting this conversation. There is talk about OSWF helping out with this project as it'll require a lot of manpower put in, but if you're happy to start working on it, I definitely won't stop you. Hey, I know you have been adding concepts images and attributes. Lore Hunter

Recently I've changed all miniquest-esque content pages to be 'lore activities' for the lack of a better word so they aren't listed as miniquests because they are not miniquests according to the Quest List or Achievements as you wrote on Lore Hunter. Hey I just created the {{GU Page}} template, so if you happen to finish any more pages feel free to use that to replace the whole page, see Graphical updates/Monsters/Aviantese as an example. Major edits

I'd appreciate if non-minor edits such as [1] would not be marked as minor so that we can get the notifiers for changes that are meaningful. I know that the concept of what is minor is not well-defined, but I think everyone would agree that changing dates on an article that's a chronological listing is not minor. Bonus points if those edits would have comments too as I very often find myself guessing what justification you or other people used behind their edits. Navigation Box

Hey there! I see you disagree with the reformatting of the Elder God Wars Dungeon navigation box, but let me explain in more detail.

The previous NPC section just focused on NPCs in the cathedral and made no mention of the various allied factions fighting in the dungeon. This new formatting replaces the non-interactive NPCs with the groups of soldiers with a relevant corresponding chathead, as well as the multiple allied gods participating. The navigation box now is more relevant to the lore instead of miscellaneous substance.

I hope I've cleared up any confusion you had about the edits, and I thank you for being vigilant watching the page.

Re: Troves rate

Since it looks a bit confusing as is, do you think a separate column for each trove type's maximum would be beneficial for the template? I figured it was probably a C&P typo because it looks so strange, but a column for Tier 2 rate and Tier 3 rate might make it less confusing. Tiers of godhood

Sound arguments. I personally consider to be them canon, especially because Zamorak more or less referenced it word for word in-game, but I can see why not adding further references to tiers could be helpful. Even so, there is still no official retcon, so they will have to stay for now. The god infoboxes in the wiki haven't removed the tier parameter, so the articles themselves haven't, either.Neutralino_Talk? 21:09, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Do you have any old computers you played RuneScape on?

Recently we've been trying to recover lost versions of RuneScape that Jagex didn't save. We're asking anybody who played from 2001-2012 to check old computers, laptops, hard drives, or backups for old RuneScape files.

Your userpage says you've been playing since 2005, so it's very likely that you have one of the missing versions. It would be great if you could search any old devices you may have so that these older versions of RuneScape aren't lost forever.
