Hello, Lexmechanic, and welcome to the RuneScape Wiki! Here are a few pages that you might find helpful:
If you have any trouble or need help, feel free to ask questions on my talk page or any other editor's talk page. We hope you like it here and decide to stay! Smithing (talk | contribs) 17:52, February 25, 2012 (UTC)
Technically, yes. Whilst the information was still intact, the attribution (the page history) had been left on the old page. Easy fix though If you need to move something to a page that already exists again just tag it with something like replacing <reason> and <pagename> with the reason and pagename.
Attribution isn't an issue for readers so much, but if we ever have to prove something with page history (for example someone copying us and we need to prove we had the older version) it's essential. cqm 19:04, 21 Mar 2013 (UTC) (UTC)
- Alright, good to know. ^.^ I'll keep that in mind. Thank you!

Re:Determining monster stats?[edit source]
The Runescape Bestiary has monster stats in it. In addition, monster stats tend to be Combat Level/2 for their primary attack stat(s) and Defence.13:52, April 6, 2013 (UTC)
New talk pages[edit source]
When making new pages in the Talk, File talk or any talk that isn't User talk, could you please addto the top, above the first message? 00:45, April 11, 2013 (UTC)
Re:Image deletion[edit source]
Yes. If it's not being placed directly onto a mainspace page (i.e. any page that doesn't have a prefix such as Talk:, User: etc), then you need to host it offsite on somewhere like imgur or photobucket.21:07, April 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Be Bold, and if anyone wants to disagree with your edits, let them explain why they do so. If you're going to add it to the quest guide/location page (or both) drop me a message so I can undelete it. 21:13, April 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Undeleted the image. 21:24, April 25, 2013 (UTC)
Just that all personal pages must exist within the User: namespace. You accidentally used the wrong prefix (Use:). When I attempted to change the namespace, it said the page User:Lexmechanic/checklist already existed, so I just added a 'b'. MolMan 18:55, April 26, 2013 (UTC)
So, they finally got 'round to fixing the Import Save button, and lo and behold: data! I still have the Goutweed in case I need/want to gather more data. IP220.127.116.11 (talk) 17:53, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
the Wikian title[edit source]
Hello! Following the discussion at RuneScape:The Wikian, you have been granted the Wikian title! Please make arrangements with Gaz Lloyd to receive the title in game. If you could please add your in-game name to RuneScape:The Wikian/Users, it would be most appreciated. Thanks and congratulations! 01:18, December 14, 2016 (UTC)
- Hey! Just checking back through RuneScape:the Wikian/Users, and you don't appear to have claimed your title yet. Please contact me in-game (accounts Gaz Lloyd or Gaz L) or via RS:DISCORD to arrange a meetup so I can grant it :) 22:23, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
So... I noticed you have a neat little tracker/log thing over at User:Lexmechanic/questlog, do you mind if I rummage around your code for my own idea of a tracker?
Basically; I'm wanting to do a similar thing (check out this). The idea has changed a bit since then. I'm only going to do it for GM quests (or quest series with a lengthy amount of requirements). Buuuuut the problem is I'm not really sure where to start, so it'd be great if I could look how you've done it :D
Either way, thanks for your time :)

- You're welcome to it! :) I often learn new tricks by checking out what other people have done. Best of luck with your project!

Wikia forking thread[edit source]
Hey Lexmechanic! I wanted to give you a heads up that there's a thread (Forum:Leaving Wikia) up for discussion right now about moving this wiki (and OSRS wiki) away from Wikia, to a self-hosted, Jagex-supported site. We'd love your input on the proposal (and the new wikis). Thanks! 21:29, September 30, 2018 (UTC)
Vote in the Weird Gloop elections![edit source]
Because of your involvement with the wiki, you are eligible to vote on the candidates for the board of Weird Gloop, the company that hosts the RuneScape and Old School RuneScape wikis.
There are 4 candidates for RuneScape, 4 candidates for OSRS, and 1 candidate for pt-RuneScape. If you'd like to influence who represents the voices of these communities inside the company, I strongly encourage you to vote! You are one of only 204 people that meet the requirements, and this is a chance to help shape the future of the wikis.
Hi, you have an outstanding prize to collect. Can you join the #one-small-wiki-favour channel on Discord and let us know when you're available in-game for us to give the reward to you? 20:43, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
Do you want a free wiki t-shirt?[edit source]
To celebrate the two-year anniversary of the new site, we're giving away RuneScape Wiki t-shirts to a bunch of wiki editors. Because of your contributions to the community over the last year, we'd like to send you one! If you're interested, go fill out this form, and we'll get those shipped out before the end of the month.
If you have any questions, shoot me a talk page message or a DM on Discord (Cook#2222). Thanks!
