More than likely the reason your names are being rejected are because they are already taken by a wikia user. You might try adding a number at the end, or using spaces in your name. For example, Karlis (myself) is taken, though I'm sure "Karlis 1000" would be available. Of course, this would not be acceptable as it would be impersonation, but I'm sure you understand the point. Please contact me on my talk or reply on the Admin request page if this does not help. Furthermore, I don't believe your username can be the same as your password, though I cannot verify this 100%. Could you provide me an example of the name you are trying to use? Karlis (talk) (contribs) 02:39, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
I tried them all, and it seemed that they all work. You might try entering one in the user name box, then refreshing your browser's cache. You can do this by holding Ctrl +F5. I will be away from my computer for about half an hour. If this doesn't help, you might ask another active admin. My guess is the red X isn't disappearing from the first name you tried, even though the names are available. Karlis (talk) (contribs) 02:50, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind creating an account for you, just be sure you change the password as soon as you log in. I will be at work here shortly, but I'll be able to check my e-mail in about 9 hours. You may e-mail me from here. Karlis (talk) (contribs) 13:39, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
My e-mail is [email protected] I will be able to check it in about 2 1/2 hours when I get off. Karlis (talk) (contribs) 19:59, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
