My name is Matt Sims aka Mercifull and I started playing RuneScape Classic around February/March 2001. I quit for a long time soon after Runescape 2 was released but decided to come back at the end of 2007. I never really got on with EoC and took another long break from 2014 onwards before getting curious again in 2021. Despite being "maxed" at the time when I last quit, I now feel like a noob again with two new skills and more people with virtual level 120 than ever before! I like to play in the evenings with my partner who also plays RuneScape as Suzi Angel... provided we can get our daughter to bed at a sensible time haha.

RuneFest[edit | edit source]
- I attended the first RuneFest on 28 August 2010 and "live tweeted" and posted pictures from the event as the day went on. I repeated the tweeting at the second RuneFest on 29 October and 30 October 2011. You can read all my tweets at @Mercifull or search for the #RuneFest hashtag.
- I co-hosted the RuneFest 2011 special edition of RSBANDBUpdate! podcast episode 333. You can listen to it at http://rsbb.ca/t82291
- I returned to Runefest in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Golden Gnome Awards 2010[edit | edit source]
In 2010 I entered the Golden Gnome Awards in the category of Live Action Short Story. You can check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EucIh-0l6aw. I didn't win but I'm still happy for entering. I did not enter again.
