Pastry dough is made by using a pot of flour on a water source. The closest water sources to a bank in free-to-play are the water trough next to the furnace east of the Lumbridge Market, the sink north of Falador's west bank, and the well in Edgeville. Pots of flour can at times be difficult to buy at a low price, but leaving in an offer will usually be successful.
To make this method as efficient as possible, the "Destroy empty containers when cooking" gameplay option should be enabled. This can be done in the Inventory in General Settings section of the Gameplay Settings. This will allow the player to turn 27 pots of flour into dough per trip instead of the usual half-inventory of 14, at the cost of the pots being destroyed.
Withdraw 27 pots of flour from the bank and use one of the pots on the water source. Select pastry dough, and wait about 30 seconds for all of the flour to be converted. Return to the bank, use a bank preset to store the pastry dough and withraw another 27 pots of flour, and repeat. With this method about 80 trips can be done per hour, for 2,160 dough per hour. Sell the pastry dough on the Grand Exchange for as high a price as you can -- the guide price is not always an accurate indicator of what pastry dough is currently selling for.
This is primarily a free-to-play method, but members can also take part, preferably using the sink and Culinaromancer's Chest in the basement of Lumbridge Castle.
It is strongly recommended to check the live prices on the Grand Exchange before making large investments in any method.

The profit rate assumes 120 kills per hour. Your actual profit may be higher or lower depending on your speed.
Mithril dragons have a 100% drop of dragon bones and Large plated mithril salvages, in addition to dropping a lot of High Level Alchemy rune salvage. Using Soul Split in addition to good defensive armour can keep you at or near full health while killing them. Mithril dragons are weak to earth spells, although with a chaotic staff or better and a high Magic level, any type of spell will have 100% accuracy against them. Super antifires are highly recommended, as using an anti-dragon shield or equivalent will inhibit your efficiency, and cut into your profit per hour.
They are located on the upper level of the Ancient Cavern, which requires Barbarian Training to access. The area is multicombat and the dragons are aggressive. Drink your super antifire, pray Soul Split and possibly Torment, and start attacking one of them with basic abilities, using the thresholds Wild Magic and Asphyxiate when available. Pick up the mithril salvage, dragon bones and any other items worth keeping, and repeat. When your inventory and your war tortoise or pack yak are full, use the TokKul-Zo to teleport next to the TzHaar Fight Cave, and bank your loot. Run north to the fairy ring and use the code bjq to return to the Ancient Cavern.

Many trees may be found to the west of the Port Sarim docks, near the lodestone. Each tree gives a single log worth 1,191 coins and respawns quickly (in under a minute). Cutting the logs and banking them at the deposit box next to the monk of Entrana can be a fairly profitable way to make money with low skills.
Teleport to Port Sarim using the Lodestone Network and start chopping all of the regular trees in the area. When your inventory is full, run north-east onto the docks and bank the logs. This should take about three minutes per load of 28 logs with a decent Woodcutting level, so you may be able to cut more than 500 logs per hour. When finished, sell the logs on the Grand Exchange. Any seer's headband will double logs received from cutting a tree, and double your profit.
Guam incense sticks, which give the player a 10-40% chance of cutting an extra log depending on the incense stick's potency, are recommended. Cadantine incense sticks, which have a base 2.5% chance of not exhausting a tree, could be a useful secondary incense effect.
The evil tree buff temporarily removes the need to bank logs and makes trees last longer, although it may be better spent on higher level trees such as mahogany or acadia, which would provide much better experience with a medium decrease in profit.
Depending on prices, it may also be worth it to fletch the logs into arrow shafts, potentially yielding 156,750 coins and making banking unnecessary. See Fletching headless arrows for more information.

Irits are always in demand to create super attacks. It is often profitable to clean the grimy herbs and sell them on the Grand Exchange. Like all methods involving large amounts of buying and selling, it is recommended to test the market first to make sure cleaning irit is profitable.
28 herbs can be cleaned per inventory, and each inventory takes 16.8s (28 ticks), so a maximum of around 5,000 herbs can be cleaned per hour. Due to the risk of repetitive strain, it is advised to use make-x to speed up the cleaning process.
Utilising a Herblore cape, presets, and the action bar, it is possible to clean an inventory approximitely every two seconds resulting in up to 50,000 herbs cleaned per hour.
Grimy irits have a buying limit of 10,000 every four hours, so you may clean them faster than you can buy them.
