I started editing the wiki in 2013 and in 2016 I became an administrator. Since 2019 I have been a member of the Weird Gloop board (the board that governs the company which hosts the wikis since they left Wikia).
I am not a technical editor but I enjoy working on projects and maintenance (especially image maintenance). In the past I have worked on larger overhauls to the upcoming updates, scan clues and skill training guides pages. One of my favourite things to do around the wiki is to work on images; I am currently trying to clear the category of pages that are missing images.
I also like helping out new editors. I helped set up a series of editing help guides in the past and I am currently a helper on the OSWF programme, where editors can earn bonds for working on editing goals. I regularly nominate new and returning editors for the Wikian title.
I am a member of the RSW clan and am active on the wiki Discord (Isobel#7874). Feel free to send me a message on the wiki, Discord or in-game if you'd like to talk to me about any of the things I am involved with around the wiki.

I started playing RuneScape around 2006-2007. I created my first and only ever account around then, playing free-to-play for some time before finally getting membership and then never looking back. I've played consistently ever since. My favourite thing to do in-game is skilling, particularly gathering skills as I enjoy collecting things and tend to spend a lot of time afk while playing. I'm not a very efficient player and I enjoy the extra challenge of doing things in less optimal ways. I don't enjoy combat so much and I am a complete noob at PVM and Slayer. Recently I have had more time to play and have reobtained my completionist for the first time in a number of years.

I'll be working on 120 Thieving when I need to be afk. I'll be training at elf workers so that I don't need to pay too much attention. I'll be collecting the resource I thieve using the skillcape perk and hoping to get the Ralph pet along the way.

I have started to do more dailies again now that I have more time and have considered what to put them towards. I am going to focus on Agility as I don't like training the skill but do not want to use silverhawks on it. I will do extended challenges, legendary jack of trades aura (and reset) and serenity posts daily for a total of 215,848 experience. I will do circus and penguins (and reset) weekly for a total of 433,000 experience. It will take around 250 days to achieve 120 Agility this way.

As I don't do a lot of combat my methods for making money are limited and I am conscious that I will eventually need to train buyable skills. My enjoyment of gathering skills makes the idea of using proteans for Hunter unappealing to me. The idea of making money while training Hunter has caught my interest (though I feel like the money making guide that inspired this is questionable). I am currently playing a lot of Big Chinchompa to obtain grenwall quota tickets so that I can eventually use these to train to 120 Hunter (while hopefully making a decent stack of cash along the way). Estimating from the questionable guide I will need around 47,400 tickets for 120 Hunter. I will need to play around 215 more games of big chin to get this many tickets, and I will be using my accumulation of daily reset tokens to work through them faster.
- 27 November 2019: I was fortunate enough to obtain an
ice dye from completing an elite clue scroll and sold it to form the majority of my subsequent cash stack.
- 22 November 2014: I gathered 5 shark's teeth and assembled them to make a
shark's tooth necklace.
- 3 November 2014: Obtained [Name] the Gardener title from a Seasonal HiScores for most herbs farmed - I farmed 3,500 herbs (rank #37).
- 23 April 2014: First time obtaining the
completionist cape.
- 19 March 2014: I obtained a
max cape for the first time.
- 13 August 2013: I found the
cute phoenix eggling. My goal of obtaining phoenix egglings around this time led to me using the phoenix as my avatar when I created my wiki account.
- 27 April 2013: After months of playing Phoenix Lair I found the large egg and kicked it to obtain the
mean phoenix eggling.
- Some time in 2011: I managed to rename my account Isobel after the name was released from an inactive account. This is my real first name so I never plan on changing it.

Archaeology
|
1st April 2021

I really enjoyed training Archaeology to 120 so I just continued doing it when I had to afk. I trained at the xolo city excavation site and purchased extra materials when I needed them and used chronotes to do daily research missions.

Invention
|
26th February 2021
|
I had been using augmented tools while working on my gathering skill 120s. I finally got to 200m shortly after obtaining 120 Archaeology during the February 2021 double xp event.

Divination
|
22nd May 2019
|
I did a mixture of Guthixian Caches and Arc while using daily contracts.

Dungeoneering
|
27th May 2018
|
After obtaining 120 I realised that I could force daily challenges in Dungeoneering, which were more generous than challenges for most other skills at the time, as I was maxed. I solo'd small dungeons to complete an extended challenge daily.
|
Farming
|
8th August 2017
|
I simply continued on what I was doing for 120. I still farm to this day but only to increase my Farming produce collections or to obtain herbs to sell.

Archaeology
|
23rd February 2021

Obtaining 120 Archaeology was my final completionist cape requirement. My real life circumstances changed around the time I was working on this and I had more time to focus on achieving the remaining non-120 requirements I had left for completionist. I came to train 120 as the final task with lots of time and enthusiasm to complete the goal. I managed to play with the benefit of double xp live for most of my training and really enjoyed the skill itself.

Herblore
|
11th November 2020
|
Herblore is also not a skill I would have chosen to train if it were not required for the completionist cape. I made saradomin brews at portable wells and was still disappointed at the cost and how long the 120 took.

Slayer
|
21st June 2020
|
After the removal of the reaper requirement from the completionist cape I wanted to retain the cape that I had long since abandoned upkeep of. 120 Slayer was a big obstacle in my way since so much had changed with the skill since I achieved level 99. 120 was painfully slow for me - taking around a year to complete due to me being busy with real life around this time and my ineptitude at slaying effectively. Maybe one day I will actually figure this skill out.

Fishing
|
17th August 2016
|
I fishing 100,000 rocktails at the Living Rock Caverns using a champion's tacklebox for banking. Then I fished 100,000 sharks and 100,000 great white sharks at the Fishing Guild.

Farming
|
13th May 2016
|
I have always enjoyed Farming and have built up a large collection of farmed produce. After regularly doing herb runs over a long period of time I realised that I had made quite a dent in getting 120 Farming. I started doing tree and fruit tree runs to get to 120 faster.
|
Woodcutting
|
28th April 2015
|
Back in the day I had obtained 99 Woodcutting by cutting yew trees. As I continued to work towards max and had times where I needed to afk the habit of rocking up to yew trees continued. Over time this turned into "collect 100,000 yew logs" and then "collect 100,000 magic logs" when I obtained my completionist cape and wasn't sure what to do next. I had made a chunk of progress towards 120 so eventually settled on completing the goal by woodcutting crystal trees.
