MeleeMagicRanged

The Savage Kalphite King is the leader of the Savage kalphites. Like the other Kalphite King, he can use the abilities of the original King but uses much more abilities and has a PKer's fighting style for all three styles of combat. Players may kill the King for various level 70-90 equipment. Players may find the Savage King on floor 23 at the end of the floor; it is not instanced.

The Savage Kalphite King is known for dropping Grandmaster armour; this is a level 95 hybrid armour and when the whole set is worn, it will allow the user of the robes to have 15% additional accuracy and damage, while stacking with a Full slayer helm's boost when on a Kalphites task.

The Savage King can be fought on hard mode; this will result in different rewards, but the fight will also be much more harder. On Normal mode it acts like a Kalphite King.

  • Normal mode abilities:
    • Minions: The Savage King calls for three Savage kalphite guardians and marauders onto the field, which deal up to 2000 damage each if a player is under them. It will use this ability at 350,000 hitpoints and 150,000 hitpoints, with the latter doing it twice in a row. Players will be briefly stunned when this happens. This ability will also transfer over to Hard Mode.
  • Hard mode abilities:
    • Pummel: The Savage King roars and pummels its current target into the ground. Players must deal 20,000 damage in 10 seconds or the current target will take 5000 damage and have their overhead prayers disabled.
    • Battle Regeneration: The Savage King screeches. All of its current adrenaline is consumed and heals up to 25% of its maximum health depending on the amount of adrenaline it had.
    • Bombardment Call: Four savage kalphite paragons appear from the walls and bombard the arena with blue flames. Players will suffer from Combust if they are caught from the flames.
    • King's Wrath: When the Savage King reaches 0 hitpoints, it will activate Wrath and explode in a 10x10 radius, damaging all players by half of their current lifepoints and cause poison that deals 3000 damage.

Ascended Kalphite Queen[edit | edit source]

The Ascended Kalphite Queen is a level 240 kalphite boss that is found on floor 23 in a sub-section which requires 74 Agility to access. Like the other Kalphites in the area, the Order of Ascension captured her and other kalphites and warped them with crystals, giving them massive defence against melee and magic attacks. As it is flying, players cannot attack with melee but instead with magic or ranged, the former being very inaccurate due to the crystals on the Queen.

Many adventurers have tried to slaughter her but have failed to. The Queen has been attacked constantly and as a result, hoards many types of equipment, broken, old and new types, along with food and potions that these adventurers were carrying.

During the fight, there are four phases, each one having 50000 lifepoints. In order to advance to the next phase, players must kill one of the Queen's bodyguards (three max), phase 1 guard using melee, phase 2 using ranged and phase 3 using magic.

4 "drops" are given at a time.

Araxxor[edit | edit source]

Hard Mode Araxxor. It costs the player 500,000 coins to access, and the player must have killed Araxxi at least once.

At the beginning of the fight, Araxxor will instantly smash the ground, revealing a hidden set of caverns below the Hive. He will still use his regular attacks like the normal version of the fight.

Players proceed to the next phase by passing through one of the open paths. Each path is completely different and gives new mechanics for the boss. Two of the paths are open while the third is closed, and changes every day.

  • Path A: Araxxor will go to the top of the hidden cavern and attack the player with magic and ranged attacks if they are out in the open. The player must create an abyssal cannon from the various materials and aim at Araxxor's body. Each hit will deal 75,000 damage to him. After two hits, he will flee into the next area.
  • Path B: The player must lure Araxxor into the bloody pool, which will consistently heal Araxxor for 1% of his lifepoints every five ticks. Araxxor must stay on the pool for 30 ticks, and can summon bloody spiders, which if they touch the player will deal 90% of their current lifepoints for damage, and return that amount to Araxxor as health. Afterwards, the wall behind will explode due to the lack of blood and Araxxor will flee into the next area.
  • Path C: Araxxor flees into the shadows and calls for six shadows to appear and fight the player. They have similar abilities to the Shadow Barrow Brothers, but do not restore health for each one destroyed. Once all shadows are destroyed, Araxxor will flee into the next area.

In phase 3, the fight still goes on as normal. However, the spiders above will help Araxxor with either attacks or healing. At 50,000 and 25,000 lifepoints, he will call for empowered versions of the spiders to help him. They must be killed, as Araxxor is invulnerable until they are all dead.

After his health is depleted to 0, he will go to the final platform, where another spider will kill him. His loot will be in the other spider's corpse.

Players receive 1 food/potion drop, and one drop from equipments, herbs & seeds, materials or uniques.

Araxxi[edit | edit source]

Hard mode Araxxi.

After Araxxor reaches 0 lifepoints, he will go to the next platform, where Araxxi will kill him. She has more unique abilities to make the fight much more harder. The abilities she uses changes each day. At any time two of these abilities will be used against the player.

  • Autoheal: Araxxi heals 1% of her lifepoints every 10 ticks until she reaches half health.
  • Abyssal Drag: Araxxi drags the player into the Abyss. When in the Abyss, the player's damage output is reduced by 25%, and eating drains 20% adrenaline rather then 10%.
  • Spider assistance: 20 araxyte spiders will assist Araxxi. They are empowered versions of bladed, spitting and imbued spiders.
  • Vengeance: Araxxi casts Vengeance on herself, causing the next hit by the player to take 1/4th of the damage they did. Upon reaching 100,000 hitpoints, her attacks will increase by 50 for every 25 lifepoints lost.
  • Ability override: Araxxi can disable player abilities, such as Devotion, Debiltate, etc for the duration of the battle.

After she dies, players may search her corpse for loot from Araxxor and herself. Players receive 1 food/potion drop, and one drop from equipments, herbs & seeds, materials or uniques.
