Welcome to my Fishing skill log. If you have read my User page (link at the bottom and at the top) then you will know that I am going for 99 Fishing. I am keeping track from level 93 formally but I have added some rough guidelines to what I did before.

  • Started Fishing after falling in love with the skill and the cape sometime in Late May/Early September with 67 Fishing.
  • Fished 40k Monkfish till Level 90 Fishing.
  • Fished Sharks (With Shark gloves and a Sacred clay harpoon) to 92 Fishing.
  • Fly fished at Shilo Village till 93 Fishing.
  • Obtained 93 Fishing on the 29th of December 2008.
  • Fly Fishing till 94.
  • Achieved 94 Fishing on the 3rd of January. The party that ensued saw me get a 2 way split of Bandos Boots as my first ever drop from Godwars and a mass killing at my house in Yanille.
  • Achieved 95 Fishing through fly fishing on the 10th of January.
  • Achieved 96 Fishing through Fly Fishing on the 17th of January.
  • Am no Hand fishing sharks to 99.
  • Achieved 97 Fishing on the 28th January.
  • Achieved 98 Fishing on the 5th February.

A little Fishing Song[edit | edit source]

Lord of the Fish[edit | edit source]

  • I fished in the morning when RuneScape was begun,
  • And I fished in the moon and the stars and the sun,
  • I came down from Falador and I fished on the Bridge;
  • At Catherby I fished my fish.
  • Fish, then, wherever you may be;
  • I am the Lord of the Fish, said me,
  • And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be,
  • And I'll lead you all in the skill, said he.
  • I fished as a king and a Noobie,
  • But none would fish and they would not fish for me.
  • I fished for the fishermen, for Laxmeister and Murphy
  • They came with me and the skill went on.
  • Fish, then, wherever you may be;
  • I am the Lord of the Fish, said me,
  • And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be,
  • And I'll lead you all in the skill, said he.
