Information[edit | edit source]

Myself[edit | edit source]

I am currently a sophomore in High School, and play the piano, guitar, and bass guitar. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (Novels and manga), drawing, and watching anime. I happen to be a very dedicated anime fan, and watch various shows in my spare time, my current favourite being Wolf's Rain. This wikia username is also a reference to the Japanese manga and anime series known as Elfen Lied. As far as music, I typically listen to Japanese, Anime Sountracks, Post-Hardcore, Gothic, and 80's Punk. I am also experienced in programming, robotics, and graphic design.

Runescape[edit | edit source]

I have been playing Runescape since around 2004, on and off over the years. I took a one year break from mid 2006 to mid 2007, returning around the time of the God Wars Dungeon update. I typically play for two or three hours per day, sometimes less, with many breaks. My playing time is typically done at night and in the morning. (GMT - 8:00, Pacific Standard Time.)

The Community[edit | edit source]

I personally believe that the community on Runescape is the main worst aspect of the game, due to the overflow of unintelligent players, possibly due to their young age and their lack of common sense. These players have developed poor social and gameplay habits by following the majority of players, who have also fallen victim to those habits. I have taken note that some of these habits may include:

  • Use of the terms in common speaking: Owned/Ownage, Noob/N00b, L0l, Lmao, Rofl, Fail, Pl0x, Plz, U/Ur (In place of You, Your/You're), Kk (In place of Okay or Alright), etc. All of these terms sound extremely ignorant and childish when commonly used, and brings the state of the community down as a whole.
  • Players who constantly follow other players, and abruptly ask for help without knowing of the other player's knowledge towards the game, and without even reading an information source or a guide first (Either the manual, forums, source for information on the game).
  • Players who constantly beg for something, usually for a lent item or coins. This typically occurs in F2P worlds, where many players will often ask high leveled players to lend an item (Such as a wearable rare/holiday item), or ask them to give them 5-10K in coins. The players who will often beg are unaware that they anyone is capable of acquiring large amounts of gold from training skills, killing NPCs, investing, or selling items that they already own. Many players who desire more gold and make it slowly are also unaware of the many possibilities out there for gold making, and do not look into better methods.
  • Players who constantly argue with others for no apparent reason, even though they are typically aware of the consequences (This frequently means being muted). You are free to disagree with players, but arguing leads to insults, which will lead to the muting of your account.
  • Players who say "Reported" after they have reported someone. You do not need to inform anyone that you have reported someone, as it leads to further arguments. This term is also commonly used as a scare-tactic when you have not actually reported someone, which is very ignorant, and even worse if Jagex is not informed of a potential offending player.
