User:Dataspace Project/Item variables

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape
Jump to: navigation, search

Similar to GEMW pages, each data page will have a series of variables that can be accessed through templates, similar to Template:GEPrice. The following list shows what variables we plan to include so far, with contributions from User:Stelercus, User:Gaz Lloyd, and User:Cook Me Plox.

  • Invintorypic - Contains the image of what the said item looks like in your inventory.
  • Collect - The XP you gain from collecting the raw version of the item. For example, the collect value for Salmon would be how much XP you earn for catching a Raw salmon.
  • Refine - The XP you gain from refining said item. The refine value for Salmon would be the XP earned by cooking a raw salmon.
  • Item Stats - Each combat stat given by an item, should it have any at all, will be documented in its own parameter.

Example for Collect/Refine[edit | edit source]

Sand → Air Battlestaff
  1. Sand
    1. Collect: Xp gained for getting the sand, if any.
    2. Refine: Xp gained for converting to Molten glass.
  2. Molten glass
    1. Collect: Same as sand-refine value.
    2. Refine: (None, too many possible options)
  3. Unpowered Orb
    1. Collect: Converting glass to orb.
    2. Refine: (None)
  4. Air Orb
    1. Collect: (None, it's just charging the unpowered orb)
    2. Refine: Xp for enchanting orb.
  5. Air Battlestaff
    1. Collect: Creating a blank battlestaff
    2. Refine: Making it an air battlestaff, if that grants additional xp from enchanting the orb.
Raw Salmon → Salmon
  1. Raw Salmon
    1. Collect: Xp gained for catching the raw salmon.
    2. Refine: Xp gained for cooking the raw salmon.
  2. Salmon
    1. Collect: Xp gained for catching the raw salmon.
    2. Refine: Xp gained for cooking the raw salmon.

See the difference between the raw and cooked salmon? No you don't, because there is none. Any further use of the cooked salmon has to be documented somewhere else.
