About this page[edit | edit source]

I haven't been playing RS for long, but I hope to expand this page soon. This page is all about my 99s, whether planned or already achieved. Feel free to comment at the bottom of the page.

#1: Fletching[edit | edit source]

On 23rd July 2011 I have achieved my first 99 - Fletching. Right, Fletching is a relatively easy 99, compared to the others, but I needed a cape that badly. Of course, as this was my first 99, I tried to celebrate as big as I could, and I got the EXACT xp for level 99 - no more, no less. I stayed up for half an hour doing math and trying to figure out how I would do that, until I realised that 2 bronze bolts will give 1 xp, so I could correct any small difference very easily.

#2: Firemaking[edit | edit source]

My planned second 99 is Firemaking, which I will hopefully get in the next month or so. Willow logs, at only 692gp are very cheap, and at nearly 100k xp per hour, quite fast ways of training. I will also chop and burn curly roots in the new Jadinko place (My wc is 96), which will apparently fetch me 300k xp per hour.

Hail, all that pursue the art of the making of flame, for I have, on the 14th of February 2012, achieved mastery in this truly magnificent and noble skill. I was, however, annoyed with the way I got it. The reason for that is that both the 99 fireworks and cape trimming animations were outdated on the wiki. Since this was my 2nd 99, I was eligible for both, and so it was agreed that I would save my 99 for until everyone went on, and then Ryan and Exor would film me getting it. The rest it explained in the following extract from Hairrazerrr's talk:

I managed to get 38 xp off [99]. Then, I realised I needed an xp lamp so that Ryan could film me. I was mining stone for the citadel, in the hopes of getting a random event on exit. So, I mined 1000, exited, and no random came. Then I thought "maybe I need to gain one little bit of xp outside". I saw a tree, and I thought "why not?". I did, however, forget that I was wielding my inferno adze. Invoking sod's law, the one and only log decided to ignite, giving me the 40 experience I needed to get to 99. {{{Plz}}}

#3: Woodcutting[edit | edit source]

Hopefully, number 3 will be Woodcutting. I started the game doing it, and looked forward to getting 99. I then got bored, gave up, got 99 Fletching, started it again and gave up again, then got 99 Firemaking. Hopefully this time I will finally see this through. I am currently level 96.
