Hi, I'm Asfastasdark. The main account I play on is a berserker pure named p3q. I used to live in the Netherlands but now live in the United States. I also used to be a staff member at Stellar Dawn Central (formerly MechScape World) but have resigned. Not much else to say. Going to UGA next year, class of '15. Hoping to transfer to some other college eventually, hoping for Stanford or CalTech.
The pages below are all about my berserker pure p3q. I'm currently a member, and training is going great. It's about all I do nowadays.
I am a nice 93 combat, 87 without summoning. My long-term goals include, of course, 99
,
,
, and
. Yes, 99
. Screw 94. That's for quitters. Also on my list is 95
, 99
, and 99
, as well as 99
.
I've never been a very rich man (except one time on my old main, Asfastasdark. Funny story, I went to World 2 to sell a few nature runes, and there was a guy buying them all. He was clearly autobuying them, because when I offered my 100 nature runes, he didn't offer 30,000 coins, no, he offered me 30k natures. And I was rich). But due to lots of profitable training, my net worth is somewhere between 30 and 40 million. It's hard to estimate with the fluctuating market and the deflationary period we're going through right now for many items. I've made most of my money through clue scrolls, the managing Kingdom of Miscellania, ranging Aviansies, making tablets (mostly bones to peaches nowadays), farming herbs, and various other random methods including slayer.
The "Treasury" section above covers my wealth; this section covers the bulk of my items. I guess I'll use bullet points to make it easier to read.
- Melee gear - My melee gear consists of a Berserker helm, an Obsidian cape, an Amulet of fury, a Fighter torso, a Dragon scimitar and a Dragon dagger (I explain why I don't use weapon poison in the "Tips" section below), a Rune defender, a Saradomin plateskirt (for the swag), Gloves (barrows), Rune boots, and a Ring of Wealth. When fighting slayer tasks, I obviously substitute slayer items for pieces of armor or weaponry.
- Ranged gear - An Armadyl coif, Ava's accumulator, an Amulet of fury, Saradomin body, Rune crossbow, an Unholy book, Bandos chaps, Gloves (barrows), Snakeskin boots, and a Ring of Wealth (or an Archers' ring, depending on what I'm fighting).
- Magic gear - Farseer helm, Guthix cape, Amulet of fury, Dagon'hai robe top, Staff of air (or other staff), Unholy book, Dagon'hai robe bottom, Gloves (barrows), Mystic boots, and either a Ring of Wealth or a Beacon ring, depending on what I'm fighting.
- Miscellaneous items - First and foremost, I have my Spotty cape, Boots of lightness, and Penance gloves, which I all love dearly. Secondly, I have my Law and Dust runes (I use these to teleport to my POH; I have two portal chambers there, so those two runes allow me to go pretty much anywhere). Then I have a Lunar staff, an Ectophial, and a few dozen Games necklaces (8) and Duelling rings (8). As you can probably tell, I love transportation and being able to get from point A to point B quickly. Besides that, well, I pick up pretty much everything people drop, I'm a true scavenger. This is why I have several hundred Teasing sticks, Tinderboxes, Buckets, Bowls, Knives, et cetera. It's nice, though; it gives me a feeling of achievement to see a stack of 74,048 Juju vials of water (I kid you not, seventy-four thousand Juju vials). It's also convenient, because when I decide to make some wine, I'll never have to run to the general store to buy jugs. Another special feature of my bank is that whenever I do a Clue scroll and have to put some clothing on, I keep it in my bank just in case that clue comes up ever again. This has proven to be very convenient. Finally I always have a Dragon hatchet and pickaxe.
My house is pretty nice, if I do say so myself. It all started when I started to train
and make money at the same time by making Teleport tablets. In the beginning my house was empty and ugly and had nothing but empty rooms, a Parlor with some Rocking chairs, and a Study with a Teak eagle lectern in it. This was the floor plan I used at the time:
Eventually, at around 79
, I had had enough. I decided it was time to renovate and started working on a new floor plan. I finished the new floor plan at 04:03, May 27, 2010 (UTC) (thank Zaros for ~~~~~...). Basically, the factors that went into the locations of the rooms were convenience (e.g. Portal chambers and Chapel close to the Exit portal) and simply where rooms would fit in best. For now, since I have the level to build every room except for the Throne room and up (pretty much the Dungeon-related rooms), I've decided to stick with a two-floor layout, reserving the basement for later use. I also tried to make the house very symmetrical... because who doesn't love symmetry? Anyway, here she is:
- Ground floor:
- First floor:
It's truly a beautiful house. Love it, love it, love it. And that's a good thing too, because I decided to go all out and buy Gold leaves and Barble blocks and everything (I dumped about 6 million into this little project). Half of my fortune was gone by the time I was done with it, but I do think it's worth it. For one, it's much more convenient; I have Portals to Varrock (well, the Grand Exchange, actually [thank you, Varrock Tasks]), Lumbridge, and Falador in the left chamber, and in the right chamber I have Portals to Camelot, Ardougne, and Kharyll. I actually finished Desert Treasure right after finishing my house for this specific purpose, funnily enough. I also have a Mounted glory upstairs, two rooms away from the Exit portal. This setup is great—I decided to just buy a stack of 1k Dust runes one day, and now, with only two runes in my inventory (Law and Dust), I can access eleven different teleport locations (Yanille being the eleventh one, since my house is conveniently located there) in a heartbeat. Since there is a Fairy ring and a Spirit tree right next to the Grand Exchange, I can access another shitload of locations. The Spirit tree also allows me to quickly teleport to the Grand Tree, which has a Glider. And then I haven't even started talking about Charter ships and other transportation methods...
Of course my house also has an altar (nothing special, but it restores prayer and that's what's important). My Chapel is decorated in a Zamorakian style (I wish Zarosian icons were available, but alas), ironically enough. The only reason for this is that I thought the Saradomin and Guthix icons didn't look all too great. On a side note, I have a Cockatrice head in my Skill hall that I happened to get as a drop while training
one day. I also plan on getting a Castle Wars armor set to place there.
