Teleportation is the instant travel, usually magical, from any location to a specific location elsewhere. Teleportation can be achieved in a variety of ways, including Magic, the use of enchanted items, or by speaking to certain NPCs.

Magic[edit | edit source]

All four spellbooks in RuneScape contain teleport spells.

Lodestone network[edit | edit source]

The Lodestone network can be accessed from all three surface spellbooks. Lodestones must be unlocked to access them.

This spellbook is only accessed whilst on a floor of Daemonheim.

Home Teleport icon.png Dungeon Home Teleport Teleports to the dungeoneering trader.
Gatestone Teleport icon.png Gatestone Teleport Teleports you to your gatestone after casting Create Gatestone and dropping it somewhere.

Items[edit | edit source]

There are a large number of items that are capable of teleporting players to various locations in Gielinor. Some of these are creating by players, with the use of enchantment spells, while others are rewarded from quests or other activities.

To use a teleportation item, all one needs to do is click on it, if the teleport is the default option, or right click if it isn't or the item is currently equipped. If there are multiple location options, the player will be prompted to select one.

Quest[edit | edit source]

Bonesack(e).pngRam skull helm(e).png Bonesack(e)/Ram skull helm(e) Bonesack(e) and Ram skull helm(e) are rewards from the Fur 'n' seek wishlist. They allow you to teleport back to the Skeletal Horror once a week, when the Odd Old Man has reconstructed the skeleton. It is an upgrade to the Bonesack/Ram skull helm reward from Rag and Bone Man quest's follow-up wishlist. Only one of these can be possessed at a time, but they can be switched at will by speaking to the Odd Old Man.
Broomstick.png Broomstick A Broomstick is an item given by Maggie in Swept Away, the 2008 Hallowe'en event quest. She asks players to enchant it by bringing it to three witches: Hetty in Rimmington, Aggie in Draynor Village, and Betty in Port Sarim. If the broomstick is taken to the Sorceress's apprentice in Al Kharid, players may use the broomstick to teleport to the Sorceress's Garden by operating it. The broomstick does not require periodic recharging.
Camulet.png Camulet The Camulet is obtained as a reward for the Enakhra's Lament quest. When rubbed, it will teleport you to Enakhra's Temple. The Camulet has 4 uses, and when it runs out you will need to use a bucket of Camel dung on it to recharge it.
Directions.png Directions Directions are obtained during Rat Catchers. Players can read the scroll to teleport to Jimmy Dazzler's client's mansion. The Directions do not disappear on use, and can be used at anytime until completion of the quest. If lost, it may be obtained again by talking to Jimmy Dazzler at the Flying Horse Inn.
Drakan's medallion.png Drakan's medallion/Mysterious medallion Drakan's medallion (known as Mysterious medallion when you find it) is a reward from The Branches of Darkmeyer quest. When you find it, it will have an option to teleport to Burgh de Rott (south of the bank) and Meiyerditch laboratories. During the quest options to teleport to Meiyerditch (inside the Myreque base), Darkmeyer (inside the Arboretum) and the Barrows (just outside the entrance) will be added. The medallion has ten charges, which can be renewed at any time by dipping it into the pool in the cave south of Burgh de Rott bank. Using the teleport from inside Morytania consumes no charge.
Ectophial.png Ectophial The Ectophial is a reward from the Ghosts Ahoy quest. By emptying it, you will be teleported to the Ectofuntus north of Port Phasmatys. To recharge it, use the ectophial with the Ectofuntus, or alternatively, wait for the player to recharge it automatically whenever you use it. This item can be used as a one-click teleport.
Crystal teleport seed.png Elf teleport crystal An Elf teleport crystal is obtained during the Mourning's Ends Part I quest. It teleports you to the elven city Lletya, and can be recharged by Eluned for a fee. If lost, new crystals can be obtained as drops from Elf warriors. After Within the Light Eluned can help you enchant your crystal(s) to also take you to the Temple of Light.
Enchanted key (Making History).png Enchanted key The Enchanted key is obtained during the Making History quest. After the quest is completed, the key can be used in Meeting History to teleport the player to the past. However, it can only be used north of East Ardougne and if the player is carrying no items other than the key. If lost or destroyed, another key may be obtained from Jorral at the beginning of the quest.
Enchanted lyre.png Enchanted lyre An Enchanted lyre is obtained during The Fremennik Trials quest. You're able to re-enchant the lyre by offering the Fossegrimen some kinds of fish. When you play the lyre you will be teleported to Rellekka. When you have used all the teleport charges on your lyre, you will have to re-enchant it. After Completion of the Fremennik Tasks, the lyre can be altered to teleport you to Neitiznot or Jatizso.
Jennica's ring.png Jennica's ring Jennica's Ring is obtained during Spirit of Summer, and can be operated while worn in several locations around the Wilderness to access a Spirit realm parallel to RuneScape. To recover the ring, search the rubble near the house where you are first transported to this strange realm. Completion of Summer's End gives you an improved version, which gives access to additional portals.
Strange teleorb.png Strange teleorb The Strange Teleorb is obtained during While Guthix Sleeps. Players can teleport themselves to Lucien's camp by operating it inside the room above Dark Squall's Room with a Law rune and a Death rune in the inventory. It is found inside Dark Squall's Room on the southernmost desk by searching it.
TokKul-Zo.png TokKul-Zo The TokKul-Zo is obtained as a reward for The Elder Kiln quest.Players can use it to teleport to several places in Tzhaar. Teleporting does not take charges, but you need at least one charge to teleport.

Task rewards[edit | edit source]

Teleport tablets[edit | edit source]

There are three kinds of teleport tablet.

A player breaking tablets.

The first are tradeable, and are made in a POH study, using a lectern. These are made of a piece of soft clay and the appropriate runes or staff. Making one of these tablets requires the player to have the appropriate Magic level to cast the teleport spell, as well as completion of any required quests. Using them has no Magic requirement, but the quest completion is still necessary. These tablets can be used for the following standard spellbook teleports:

The second kind of teleport tablet is obtained from Wizard Elriss in the Runecrafting Guild, in exchange for Runecrafting guild tokens. These are not tradeable between players, meaning that they have a minimum requirement of 50 Runecrafting in order to purchase them. These tablets teleport players to the outside of the named Runecrafting altar, or the Runecrafting Guild, provided the player has the Runecrafting level and required quest completion to use them. The third kind of teleport tablets are made from the Teleport to house tablet, after completion of Love Story. By right-clicking on the teleport to house tablets, players can modify them to teleport to any of the six POH portals in Gielinor.
