These official Patch Notes are copied verbatim from this forum thread of the RuneScape forums. It is copyrighted by Jagex.
These Patch Notes were announced on 2 April 2012.

The following small fixes and adjustments have now been made to the game. If you spot any further bugs in-game, please use the Bug Report feature.


  • The Lucky Armadyl helm has had its inventory model updated to match the reworked Armadyl armour.
  • The Dungeoneering skillcape emote no longer takes the melee stats of a weapon into account if autocasting is enabled when deciding which set of Dungeoneering gear to wear.
  • A map square in Zanaris has had the correct bloom values reassigned to it.
  • The Jiggig caves no longer go bright white with bloom enabled.
  • Lucky Saradomin Godswords no longer stretch when wielded.
  • Some remaining old-style trees in reworked areas have been removed.

Quests & Tasks:

  • Morytania leggings are now kept on death.
  • The Thoroughly A-ghast task now correctly states that it requires 87 Summoning instead of 85.
  • The Varrock platebody is now correctly considered a part of the Golden Mining suit set for the XP bonus.
  • The "Relocation" task no longer states that it requires 10 Construction.
  • It is now possible to ignite explosive bricks in The Dig Site quest.
  • It is no longer possible to squeeze past a dead tree used in Eyes of Glouphrie before the quest is started.

Skills & Minigames:

  • The scorpion near the Talent Scout on Ape Atoll has been moved further away to stop it from attacking players trying to speak to the scout.
  • It is no longer possible to get stuck inside a tree in Castle Wars.
  • The text when a reward token is dropped on the floor in Temple Trekking / Burgh de Rott Ramble has been altered.


  • Equipping Barrows armour no longer closes the equip interface.
  • A spelling error on the Morytania entry warning interface has been corrected.
  • The Seal of Passage is no longer required when teleporting using an Astral Altar teleport tablet.
  • Fletching Bloodwood trees into shafts using the make-x system now correctly calculates how many "all" is.
  • Turning shared XP on or off in Dungeoneering no longer causes other player's interfaces to close.
  • The exit coordinate of the Rellekka Slayer cave has been updated to move the player off of the cave entrance.
  • The milestone capes no longer state that 120 Dungeoneering is required to wield them.
