These Patch Notes were announced on 20 December 2010.

The following small fixes and adjustments have now been made to the game. If you spot any further bugs in-game, please use the Bug Report feature ('Submit a Bug Report' under the 'Help' drop-down menu of the website).


  • Void Knight robes now look better when resting.
  • Animations for wielding chinchompas and noose wands have been updated.
  • The scythe's wield animation has been changed to prevent clipping with hats.
  • Skills necklaces and naval shirts no longer cause a spike when resting.
  • Dragon boots no longer mysteriously go brown when running while wearing Dagon'Hai robes.
  • Cat training medals no longer render underneath aprons.
  • White platebodies no longer have a spike connecting to wielded Asgarnian banners.
  • Textures on the border of the Oo’glog salt pool have been updated.
  • Crab claws and Statius's platelegs no longer have a spike joining them.
  • Casting alchemy spells while running will cause clipping issues with skillcapes less often.
  • Players' heads will no longer render through Void melee helms.
  • Zenevivia has updated the Castle Wars armour in her house to the new style of armour.
  • Sagittarian bodies and bryll robe bottoms no longer cause players to be split in two.
  • A Varrock bartender's rag no longer mysteriously grows when cleaning glasses.
  • Black dragonhide chaps are no longer attached to gnomeballs.
  • Lowe’s Bows archery shop no longer has a gap in the western room.
  • The Giant Dwarf statue has had its head returned.
  • Drops in Tarn's Lair should be more visible.
  • Flickering issues in the ice strykewyrm cave have been fixed.
  • A fence is no longer sticking through a house on Miscellania.
  • The Bandos godsword's special attack animation will now play every time it is used.
  • A floating roof in Port Sarim has been fixed.
  • White lines no longer appear on the roof of Entrana's herb store.
  • The Arrav banner has been altered to not have the pole go through a player's hand.
  • Iron pickaxes have been darkened to make the difference clearer between them and steel pickaxes.
  • Gertrude's toy weapons no longer clip with the floor.
  • The crowd is now more visible when performing Agility at the Circus.
  • Dragon kites no longer stay still when using the squirrel ears juggling emote.
  • Zanik's crossbow is no longer connected to elegant male bottoms.
  • Ahrim's robe top no longer has yellow sleeves.

Quests and Tasks

  • Rubbing a dragon coin in Sir Amik Varze's part of Recipe for Disaster has been updated.
  • Dialogue in Biohazard has been updated to give players more direction.
  • Some duplicate text in Waking the Muspah has been removed.
  • The sacred clay hammer can now be used to fix the Mos Le’Harmless bridge after Fairy Tale Part III.
  • Bert has had a typo fixed after Hand in the Sand.
  • A typo has been fixed in a cutscene in the Soul's Bane quest.
  • The Quest Overview interface no longer refers to objectives.

Activities and Distractions

  • Pest Control splatters now damage players and barriers once again.
  • The Barbarian Assault interface has been updated to display the correct amount of bonus damage for Attackers.
  • The Barbarian Assault tutorial has been updated to show the correct amount of life points for Healers.


  • Trimmed dragonhide chaps now have the same soaking bonuses as the untrimmed variants.
  • Zaff has decided that he will talk to players on free worlds.
  • The Scroll of Cleansing effect now works on Herblore Habitat potions.
  • It is no longer possible to avoid Nomad's disintegrate attack by trying to escape.
  • The Music Player now remembers its scroll position when teleporting.
  • The Woodcutting juju potion now applies to special teak logs.
  • The amulet of zealots now shows the boost when using curses on the Prayer interface.
  • Herblore Habitat bushes have been updated to work with wolpertingers.
  • Charged Summoning headgears have had damage soaking applied to them.
  • It is no longer possible to get a strange rock from attempting to mine without a pickaxe.
  • Earth warriors now play their death animation as soon as they die.
  • The camulet, amulet of catspeak and amulet of monkeyspeak have had their examine information made more consistent.
  • Two Agility icons have had their tooltips switched to give the correct requirements.
  • Tindel Marchant now recognises what an iron longsword is.
  • It is no longer possible to plant marker plants while seated.
