This page contains a list of all notable unlockable content in RuneScape. The content includes access to armour, locations, and quality-of-life improvements that enhance the player's gameplay.

Passive Buffs

Passive buffs are benefits that are applied to your account in a passive sense by completing an activity, achievement or unlock. There are both permanent buffs and buffs that are active when certain conditions are met. This list shows the most notable passive benefits from various activities, as well as the conditions and durations of these buffs (for the non-permanent ones). This list shows the most notable passive benefits from various activities.

Combat related buffs

	Ring of Vigour	After an ultimate ability is used, 10% adrenaline will be retained. However, the appropriate amount of adrenaline needed to cast a given ultimate ability is still required. When the Weapon Special attack ability is used, it only requires 90% of the original adrenaline cost. Additionally, the amount of adrenaline needed to activate the special attack is reduced by 10%. For example, a special attack that normally requires 50% adrenaline to activate, which then drains that 50% adrenaline, would only require 45% adrenaline to activate with the ring equipped. This also applies to special attacks used via the Essence of Finality.	Permanent	The effects of the ring of vigour can be unlocked as a permanent passive effect after completion of the Extinction quest.
	Elite Seers' Village achievements	Flat +2% to the chance that the special effects of enchanted bolts activate. The healing effect of enhanced excalibur has doubled duration (resulting in double the amount healed)	Permanent	See Elite Seers' Village achievements.
	Slayer helmet stand	Passively grants the effects of the placed Slayer helmet that is placed on the stand without needing to wear it. Can be removed to be upgraded if needed. Does not grant the stats or teleports of the helmet.	Permanent	Requires the Tier 3 Slayer Lodge in Anachronia base camp.

	Smoking kills (Quest)	Ability to earn the full amount of slayer points from slayer tasks.	Permanent	See Smoking kills.
	Scroll of cleansing	When mixing potions, there is a 10% chance that you will create the potion twice as fast, and save an ingredient for that potion.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 20,000 Dungeoneering tokens.
	Scroll of Daemonheim	When performing any skilling action in Daemonheim there is a chance that you will gain an additional 5% of that XP in the Dungeoneering skill.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 30,000 Dungeoneering tokens.
	Scroll of dexterity	Whenever the player crafts an item that requires three or more of the same ingredient, there is a chance that they will retain an ingredient. 	Scroll of efficiency	When completing a smithing object, each bar used in its recipe has a 2% chance of being refunded.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 20,000 Dungeoneering tokens.
	Scroll of gathering	Increases the experience from all gathering activities in Daemonheim by 25%.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 80,000 Dungeoneering tokens.
	Scroll of life	When harvesting farming patches (including dead), there is a 10% chance your seeds will be returned to you. There is also a 5% chance of getting a tree seed back from a dead tree.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 10,000 Dungeoneering tokens.
	Scroll of proficiency	Whenever the player constructs an item that requires three or more planks, there is a chance that they will retain a plank. This chance is dependent on the planks that are being used.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 20,000 Dungeoneering tokens.
	Scroll of quick teleportation	Greatly increases the speed of the Dungeon Home Teleport within Daemonheim.	Permanent	Purchased from the Rewards trader for 50,000 Dungeoneering tokens.

	Warped gorajan trailblazer outfit	7% discount on rewards shop, Elite Dungeon Reward Shop and floor prestiging. Does not apply to swapping tokens for XP.	Permanent	Obtained by combining the frozen, furnished, abandoned, and occult gorajan trailblazer outfits.
	Workshop (Fort Forinthry)	Power capacity of invention machines is increased by 25%.	Permanent	Upgrading the workshop to tier 3.

Tasks set

Set tasks are exploration achievements exclusive to certain areas which, when completed, reward a piece of the tasks set. Each set, except the Lumbridge achievements, has four tiers: easy, medium, hard, and elite. The rewards from completing the tasks rewards players with experience lamps of the respective tier as well as equipment and additional perks. These equipments offer various bonuses and advantages that are highly recommended for players.

The medium tier cloak provides unlimited teleport to the Ardougne Monastery and 3 teleports to the Ardougne Farm per day. The Ardougne Farm teleports can be increased to 5 and unlimited teleports per day with the completion of the hard and elite tasks.
Explorer's ring teleport		Completed medium Lumbridge achievements	The explorer's ring teleports the player to the Falador Farm cabbage patch just south of the farming patches. Completion of the medium tier provide 3 teleports per day. Unlimited teleports per day is unlocked once the player has completed the hard tasks for the diary.
Access to farming patches in Morytania		Completed Priest in Peril	Morytania can only be accessed after the completion of the Priest in Peril quest. The farming patches include a mushroom farming patch in addition to the standard allotment, flower, and herb patches.
Access to Troll stronghold herb patch		Completed My Arm's Big Adventure	Disease-free herb patches.
Access to Lletya's fruit tree patch		Started Mourning's End Part I	Players need to start Mourning's End Part I until they have access to Lletya.
Ability to plant Spirit trees		83 Farming	Players with 83 Farming can plant only 1 Spirit tree. This is increased to 2 Spirit trees at 86 Farming after completing The Prisoner of Glouphrie. At 89 Farming, a third Spirit Tree can be planted after completion of The Prisoner of Glouphrie and Plague's End. The fourth (and final) Spirit Tree can be planted at 114 Farming, with the Apprentice Farmer rank (4000 reputation) at the Farming Guild.

Fishing
