- Player: Hello there!
- Zeid the Tailor: I'm a little busy at the moment. What is it?
- Player: What can you tell me about Al Kharid?
- Zeid the Tailor: Oh, it has wonderful weather.
- Player: Wonderful? It's hot and dry all the time!
- Zeid the Tailor: Not quite as hot as back home.
- Player: Where's home, then?
- Zeid the Tailor: Oh, it's a town to the south of the pass, called Pollnivneach.
- Player: So what do you do here?
- Zeid the Tailor: If I had cloth, patterns and customers, I'd be a tailor. As it is, I'm a tailor with nothing to do.
- Zeid the Tailor: The silk merchant won't even sell me any silks, because he doesn't trust me!
- Player: Anything I can do to help?
- Zeid the Tailor: No, no, it's all being dealt with.
- Player: I hear you work for Zeid Morrisane...
- Zeid the Tailor: Of course, he's the one who's going to obtain cloth and clothes patterns so I can set up shop here.
- Zeid the Tailor: And in such a good location, too. Not out of the way like back home.
- Zeid the Tailor: The customers will soon pour in!
- Player: Maybe I should talk to him...
- Zeid the Tailor: Why not? He always likes to meet potential business partners.
- Player: I hear you've been threatening the other shopkeepers.
- Zeid the Tailor: Me, threaten people?
- Player: One of the shopkeepers told they were threatened by a man with large scissors...
- Zeid the Tailor: Oh, them. Don't mind them. I think they're worried about what effect our shops will have.
- Zeid the Tailor: For all they know, when we open our shops their wares will look cheap and shabby by comparison!
