Wingsuit v1[edit | edit source]

Attempting to leap off the bridge edge without the wingsuit[edit | edit source]

  • Player: That seems like a bad idea. I don't think I can trust these Boots of Flight over such a large distance...
  • (If the mystery hasn't been uncovered before:)
    • Mystery Uncovered: 'Wing Out'.

Discovering the wingsuit v1 (damaged)[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I hope I can restore this thing; it's pretty beaten up.
  • Player receives wingsuit v1 (damaged).
  • (If the mystery hasn't been uncovered before:)
    • Mystery Uncovered: 'Wing Out'.

Attempting to leap off the bridge edge[edit | edit source]

Without wingsuit[edit | edit source]

  • Player: What did I do with that wingsuit I restored?
  • Player: Did I leave it in my b ank or with Gee'ka?

With wingsuit in backpack[edit | edit source]

  • Player: This wingsuit is going to get more use than the boots! Tool belt time!
  • Add wingsuit v1 to your tool belt?
    • Yes.
      • You add the prototype wingsuit v1 to your tool belt.
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends)

With wingsuit but items equipped in main or off-hand slots[edit | edit source]

  • You'll need both hands free to do that.

Leaping off the bridge edge[edit | edit source]

  • Mystery Uncovered: 'Howl's Floating Workshop'.

Attempting to fly past lighting rods without both lightning conductors[edit | edit source]

  • Player is struck by lighting and falls out of the sky and lands in the base camp.

Wingsuit v2[edit | edit source]

Picking up first lightning conductor[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Huh, there's something here that looks a bit like an augmentor crossed with a lightning rod. I think it might be an upgrade to the wingsuit - there's a socked on top of teach wing for something of this shape and size...
  • Take and install the wingsuit upgrade?
    • Yes.
      • Player picks up the lightning conductor.
      • Player: Perfect fit! Now to find a second one...
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends)

Picking up second lightning conductor[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Oh, neat - a second upgrade for the wingsuit!
  • Take and install the wingsuit upgrade?
    • Yes.
      • Player picks up the lightning conductor.
      • Player: That upgraded to wingsuit to v2! Time to try that lightning security barrier!
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends)

Gee'ka[edit | edit source]

Talking to Gee'ka about this mystery[edit | edit source]

Before restoring the wingsuit[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Yeah, so, I almost tried to use the Boots of Flight on a larger gap and...it didn't feel right.
  • Gee'ka: Better safe than sorry mess on the ground. Keep exploring, there'll be something.

After finding the wingsuit, and before restoring it[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I found a beaten-up old device - it looks like a pair of prosthetic wings.
  • (If the wingsuit hasn't been lost:)
    • Gee'ka: Hmm, do you think you could restore them?
    • Player: I can but try...
  • (If the wingsuit has been lost:)
    • Gee'ka: It looks like you beat them up even more! Luckily, I was able to make some repairs, but you will still need to restore them.
    • (Without space in backpack:)
      • Gee'ka: Okay, I'll keep tinkering until you want it back.
    • (With space in backpack:)
      • Take wingsuit v1 (damaged) from Gee'ka?
        • Yes.
          • Player receives wingsuit v1 (damaged).
          • Player: Thanks. I'll get right on that.
          • (Continues with non-mystery-specific dialogue.)
        • No.
          • (Dialogue ends)

After restoring the wingsuit, and before attempting to use it[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I restored that beaten up old wingsuit.
  • (If the wingsuit hasn't been lost:)
    • Gee'ka: If there is as much sky up there as you say, you might want to add it to your tool belt so it's always on hand.
  • (If the wingsuit has been lost:)
    • Gee'ka: Restored it then destroyed it! Careless! You're lucky one of the other archaeologists found and restored another one!
    • (Without space in backpack:)
      • Gee'ka: Clear some room for it. I'll keep hold of it for now.
    • (With space in backpack:)
      • Take wingsuit v1 from Gee'ka?
        • Yes.
          • Player receives wingsuit v1.
          • Player: Tool belt?
          • Gee'ka: Tool belt!
          • (Continues with non-mystery-specific dialogue.)
        • No.
          • (Dialogue ends)

After attempting to use the wingsuit unsuccessfully[edit | edit source]

  • Gee'ka: Don't do that to me! You're lucky I spotted you!
  • Player: It just went black. One minute I was flying, there was an arc of lightning and...then I woke up here.
  • Gee'ka: I can fill in the blank. I saw you falling and flew up to catch you, carry you back down to safety.
  • Player: Well, at least we know the wingsuit works.
  • Gee'ka: Yes, just be careful where you fly with it.
  • (After installing a lightning conductor:)
    • Player: I've found an upgrade for the wingsuit - it's some sort of mini lightning rod. I think this will help me pass the security barrier.
    • Player: I'll need to find one for the other wing, though.
  • (After installing two lightning conductors:)
    • Player: I found a second mini lightning rod - I'm calling it a wingsuit v2 now! I'm going to attempt to pass through the security barrier.
    • Gee'ka: Just be careful. I'll keep an eye out for raining men.

After solving the mystery[edit | edit source]

  • Player: The wingsuit v2 let me pass through the security barrier! They acted acted like little lightning rods and parted the lightning field as I flew through.
  • Gee'ka: Great news, Player. Let me know what you find past it.
