Padomenes[edit | edit source]

Talking to Padomenes with the dold Dominion medal in backpack[edit | edit source]

  • Padomenes: Wait, is that a gold Dominion Games medal you are holding? Where did you find such a thing?
  • Player: Oh, it was at the Everlight Dig Site. I was working over there with a team of archaeologists.
  • Padomenes: Everlight? But how? It was lost to my people centuries ago.
  • Player: I'm not sure what to tell you, but it's back...risen out of the waters again. I found this medal in a statue of Padosan.
  • Padomenes: ... Padosan? She was...my sister. Please, I must have this. I loved her dearly and miss her so. We were very close, but she was taken from me too young. I could tell you something of Everlight that you would find of value.
  • Hand Padosan's medal to Padomenes?
    • Yes.
      • Player hands over the medal.
      • You hand Padosan's gold medal over to Padomenes. His usually dour face lights up with joy.
      • Padomenes: If you wish to claim the power of Everlight for yourself, as many iceyene who once lived there have, you will need to dip a kantharos cup into the beam at the top of the lighthouse.
      • Player: A kantharos cup? I'm sure there'll be plenty of those to discover at the site, though I will probably need to restore one first. Thank you, Padomenes.
      • Padomenes: No, thank you! I shall cherish this medal for the rest of my days.
    • No.
      • Padomenes: Please reconsider, that was my sister's medal. I would dearly wish to have it as a memento. The knowledge I can trade for it will be of use to you, I'm certain.

Lighthouse[edit | edit source]

Placing bucklers at the top of the lighthouse[edit | edit source]

  • The buckler shield clicks into place on the wall bracket.

After the final buckler is placed

  • Several parts of the elevator pop up, and 12 controls pop up to the sides of the elevator, three for each direction

Solving the puzzle[edit | edit source]

  • You feel a small shockwave as you move the final shield into place.
  • Player: Whoa! That woke something up! I should try the elevator again...

Activating the elevator[edit | edit source]

  • Travel up or down?
    • Up.
      • Player steps onto the elevator and goes up to the top of the lighthouse.
      • Player: Wow! This is some view!
    • Down.
      • Player steps onto the elevator and goes to the underwater tunnel.
    • Cancel.
      • (Dialogue ends)

Claiming the Everlight[edit | edit source]

Attempting to Take the Everlight

  • Claim the Everlight?
    • Yes.
      • Player: Let's see if what Padomenes said works...
      • You 'dip' your kantharos cup into the Everlight.
      • Player leans forward into the Everlight.
      • Player receives Cup of Nectar.
      • Congratulations! You have completed: 'The Everlight' - Solve this mystery.
      • You gain 49,000 Archaeology XP for completing a mystery!
      • If all previous mysteries have been completed
        • Congratulations! You have completed: 'Mysteries - Everlight' - Complete all of the listed achievements.
      • (Dialogue ends)
    • No.
      • Player: I think I'll leave this alone for now...

After the Everlight has been claimed

  • Player: I've already done this. If I lost my nectar, I can reclaim it from Easty, near the monolith.

Vanescula[edit | edit source]

Talking to Vanescula after destroying bucklers[edit | edit source]

With enough inventory space to reclaim

  • Vanescula Drakan: I'm holding some icyene buckler shields for you - do you want them back?
  • Take shields back from vanescula?
    • Yes.
      • (The player receives the remaining bucklers.)
    • No.
      • Vanescula Drakan: I don't want to hang on to these things forever, you know?

Without enough inventory space to reclaim

  • Vanescula Drakan: I'm holding some icyene buckler shields for you. Hurry up and free some inventory space for them - I don't want to hang on to these things forever, you know?
  • You need [number] free inventory space[s].

Talking to Vanescula with bucklers[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Do you know where I might make use of an icyene buckler shield?
  • Vanescula Drakan: Not a clue, but we are only discovering them rarely here. Unlike other artefacts, they appear to still be in pristine condition. I would suggest you hold on to them until you figure out their purpose.

Talking to Vanescula after completing the mystery[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I found something atop Everlight! There wasn't a light switch, though, sorry.
  • Vanescula Drakan: Of course not, why would there be? Well, at least we have access to the light now. Perhaps we can find some way to at least cover it up a bit.
