• I tried to travel down the Pollniveach well. I was pestered by a vicious cat. I should ask it what is happening.
• I talked to Ali Cat and he warned me of terrible perils. I must explore an ancient tomb, east of the Agility Pyramid, in order to talk to a spirit. The spirit should enable me to survive combined assaults from banshees and smoke. Ali Cat suggested that I take my cat with me to help, but warned that the spirit's ghostly form will make conversation tricky.
• I have entered the tomb and discovered it is more complex than I first thought. I should seek out the spirit.
• Catolax, the spirit, has taught me how to create masked earmuffs, which can fend off smoke. I need to combine a pair of earmuffs and a slayer face mask in order to rescue Sumona's sister from the well in Pollniveach.
• If the player owns a pair of masked earmuffs:
  • I have combined a pair of earmuffs and a Slayer face mask to create masked earmuffs. I must now rescue Sumona's sister from the well in Pollniveach.
• If the player does not own a pair of masked earmuffs:
  • I have combined a pair of earmuffs and a Slayer face mask to create masked earmuffs, although I have lost them and I need to make more. I must now rescue Sumona's sister from the well in Pollniveach.
• I have obtained a banshee's voice from the caverns beneath Pollniveach's well. I should explore the caverns further.
• I have defeated the banshee mistress and some insectoid assassins in order to rescue Sumona's sister, Jesmona. Jesmona teleported away so I should report this to Sumona in Pollniveach.
