This transcript involves dialogue with Scribe and the player.

Talk to[edit | edit source]

  • Scribe: Good day, sir. How may I be of assistance?
  • Choose an option:
    • I'd like more information about clans.
      • Select an option
        • What are the benefits of being in a clan?
          • Scribe: I'm so glad you asked me that, [ma'am/sir]. Allow me to explain.
          • Cutscene opens, showing four NPCs acting as players.
          • Scribe: A clan is a group of players who have banded together for mutual benefit.
          • Camera pans in on the clan citadel portal and the NPCs walk into the portal.
          • Scribe: As a member of a clan, you can do things you couldn't do on your own.
          • Screen fade in/out; view of a clan citadel castle.
          • Scribe: You can create your very own clan citadel, and decorate it with your clan motif.
          • Screen fade in/out; view of a clan citadel dance floor and multiple NPCs acting as players dancing.
          • Scribe: You can take part in social events, including meetings and parties.
          • Balloons drop from the ceiling; screen fade in/out; view of clan members mining tin and copper ore rocks, benefiting from the clan avatar boost.
          • Scribe: You can create a clan avatar, a customisable companion who can give you an experience boost.
          • Screen fade in/out; view of clan members using the kiln skilling plot.
          • Scribe: You can work with your clanmates to increase your skills.
          • Screen fade in/out; view of clans fighting each other in the Clan Wars Arena.
          • Scribe: You can battle other players' clans in the Wilderness and the Clan Wars Arena.
          • Screen fade in/out; view of clan members fighting the King Black Dragon.
          • Scribe: And you can fight powerful enemies, such as the King Black Dragon and Kalphite Queen, and earn valuable rewards.
          • Cutscene ends.

        • How do I recruit more clanmates?
          • Scribe: If you are the founder of your clan or a recruiter, you can invite others to join by using your vexillum on them. But remember that if a player has already joined a clan, they will not receive your invitation.

        • How do I leave a clan?
          • Scribe: I can help you leave your clan right now if you wish. Remember, however, that if you are the last remaining member of the clan, leaving will permanently dissolve the clan.

            • What is a clan cloak?
              • Scribe: A clan cloak identifies you as a member of a clan, and displays your clan's motif. The Captain of the Guard can provide you with one, if you wish.
              • (Shows initial options)
            • What is a vexillum?
              • Scribe: A vexillum is a banner that displays your clan's colours and emblem. It can be carried, displayed, or used to recruit new clanmates. If you place the vexillum in the ground, others can use it to find out more about your clan, and contact you if they are interested in joining. You can also use the vexillum directly on other players to invite them to join your clan. Finally, you can use the vexillum to teleport directly here.

              • Scribe: It would be my pleasure, [ma'am/sir].
              • The scribe gives you a vexillum.

      • Scribe: Clan scribe Amos Twinly at your service, sir. I keep a record of all clans, and distribute clan charters to those who wish to start a clan. If you are a member of a clan, I can also provide you with a vexillum - a banner displaying your clan's motif.

    • Goodbye.
      • Scribe: Goodbye, [ma'am/sir].

Clan Cup[edit | edit source]

  • Scribe: Hello there! Do you wish to participate in a special Clan Cup for your clan?
  • Player: What's this about?
  • Scribe: This is a special competition where I'll track all Clans who wish to dedicate time to this competition!
  • Scribe: For this particular Clan Cup you'll be required to skin as many dinosaurs in Anachronia as possible!
  • Player: How do I take part?
  • (If the player doesn't have a clan vexillum:)
    • Scribe: Easy enough! You need to acquire a Clan Vexillum from myself, would you like me to give you one?
    • Will you take a clan vexillum from the scribe?
      • Yes.
        • Scribe: It would be my pleasure, sir.
        • The scribe gives you a vexillum.
      • No.
        • Scribe: No problem, should you want a Clan Vexillum in the future you can acquire one from myself or a fellow clan member.
        • (Continues below.)
  • (If the player has a clan vexillum:)
    • Scribe: Easy enough! If you interact with the Clan Vexillum you've got there you'll get an option to start a session.
    • (Continues below.)
  • Scribe: If you wish to take part without a Vexillum, feel free to select the 'Clan Cup Functions' option on the trophy in Clan Chat!
  • Scribe: Now on to the competition...
  • Scribe: You'll have 1 hour to set the highest score you can, the top ten members for your clan will constribute to a clan total which will be compared against the other clans!
  • Player: What can we win?
  • Scribe: If your clan finishes in the top ten for the entire competition, expect some goodies including a boost to that avatar of yours and more!
  • Scribe: My fellow scribes will be in touch to arrange prizes, should you finish in the top 10!
