[00:30] We're hopping mad with excitement about RuneScape's eggshellent Easter event this month.
[00:34] Lumbridge will be choc-a-block with eggcitement that you should definitely chick out.
[00:39] We've also got some eggceptional quality of life improvements to the Clan systems,
[00:43] an eggstraordinary evolution of Vic the Trader,
[00:46] some eggsquisite changes to miniquests and some eggsplosive oddments tweaks.
[00:52] Yolks aside, let's stop rabbiting on and take a look.
[01:08] THE MONTH AHEAD
APRIL
[01:11] It's time for the Eastertime Fete and Lumbridge and Gielinor's guilds have turned up
[01:15] to show off their assorted and sometimes peculiar wares.
[01:18] Tasks in this temporary Easter quest include cooking a cake pie for the Chef's Guild,
[01:23] helping the Crafting Guild decorate an elaborate ornate egg
[01:26] and creating swordsharkuna for the Fishing Guild.
[01:30] Swordsharkuna, in case you didn't know, consists of a tuna inside a swordfish inside a shark.
[01:36] Borderline inedible. Questionably unethical.
[01:39] Players can find the Eastertime Fete in the Lumbridge crater area from April 15th.
[01:45] As excited as the Easter Bunny is about the fete, he's also a little worried.
[01:48] Some previously undiscovered hidden eggs have hardened and crystallised over time.
[01:53] Should they be discovered by the fine people of Gielinor and subsequently chewed,
[01:58] then a wide-ranging toothy calamity could result!
[02:02] Once all the pieces have been gathered together to form a giant egg,
[02:05] the Easter Bunny will do its thang and de-crystallise it,
[02:08] creating a small trove of goodies for all to enjoy.
[02:11] Avoiding Dental Catastrophe is also a wonderful opportunity
[02:14] to support two very worthwhile charities.
[02:17] Money raised from purchasing chocolate fragments during the event will go
[02:19] to our partner charities CPSL Mind and The Prince's Trust.
[02:23] Avoiding Dental Catastrophe kicks off on April 15th.
[02:27] This month will see a number of tweaks and fixes rolled out to the clan system,
[02:30] including a refresh for the Clan info interface,
[02:33] broadcasts to celebrate anniversaries,
[02:35] and more detailed information about the requirements for joining a clan,
[02:38] as well as lots of other UI tweaks and improvements.
[02:41] There will also be improvements to the Clan chat.
[02:44] The Clan changes will arrive on April 29th.
[02:48] Vic's getting personal.
[02:49] For the price of one bond, players will be able to buy a summoning stone.
[02:52] Once acquired it can then be activated for one hour,
[02:55] throughout which Vic can be summoned as many times as you like.
[02:58] Furthermore, this time is paused if you happen to log out.
[03:01] Players will be able to head into the bonds interface
[03:03] and grab the new portable trader package between April 23rd and May 26th.
[03:09] Judge a quest by its size, do you?
[03:10] Well you shouldn't, and in recognition of how much we all love RuneScape's miniquests,
[03:14] we're adding them to the game's main quest list on April 8th.
[03:18] Joining them on the quest list are of course the five Fremennik Sagas.
[03:22] We're going to be giving the oddments store a little refresh on April 8th.
[03:25] New prizes will be added, such as the solite and lunite armour and weapons,
[03:28] and a couple are being removed, which are the Ninja Training and Deathbeard's Demise.
[03:33] There are ghastly matters afoot in Solomon's General Store this month.
[03:36] The Risen, a fallen warrior mage that met its gruesome end in the swamps of Mort Myre,
[03:40] has returned to claim its kingdom once again.
[03:43] The Risen will be available to buy from April 8th.
[04:12] That's your fill for this month.
[04:13] Have a good Easter everybody and we'll see you in May.
