- Rixie: I'm Rixie, one of the vendors here at the fayre, so you can buy yourself a lovely souvenir to take home with you.

- How do the portals work?
- Rixie: They're amazing, aren't they? We had them made by a wizard, a long time ago now. They're splendid things, never had a problem with them.
- Rixie: We simply set them up in the new location for the fayre and they calibrate themselves. It's quite incredible to watch.
- Rixie: They seem to know where the most useful places in the near vicinity are and set themselves up to point to there.
- Rixie: It's just my job to work out how many we need. When they stop glowing, were[sic] all done.

- Rixie: It's a noisy life, living and working at the fayre, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
