Standard dialogue[edit | edit source]

  • Rewards trader: Oh, hello, I didn't see...
  • Player: Hey. I was wondering if you could help me?
  • Rewards trader: Help? Uh...I'm not sure that I can...uh...
  • What would you like to say?
    • Who are you?
      • Player: Who are you?
      • Rewards trader: I'm...I used to be...
      • Player: Yes?
      • Rewards trader: I just handle the...uh...equipment.
      • Player: I mean, who are you? Like, what is your name?
      • Rewards trader: A name? I...uh...
      • What would you like to say?
        • You are driving me crazy.
          • Player: You are driving me crazy.
          • Rewards trader: I'm sorry. I'm...
          • Player: Yes?
          • Rewards trader: They called me Ma...
          • Player: Malcolm? Mandrake? Ma...um...Mango?
          • Rewards trader: Uh, no, those aren't quite right.
          • What would you like to say?
            • You mentioned something about equipment?
              • Player: You mentioned something about equipment?
              • Rewards trader: Yes, I did, you're right. I sell things, mend things. What interests you?

            • I'm done with you.
        • You mentioned something about equipment?
          • Player: You mentioned something about equipment?
          • Rewards trader: Yes...uh...I did, you're quite right. I sell things, mend things. What interests you?
          • What would you like to say?
            • Let's see what you sell, then.
            • What exactly can you mend?
              • Player: What exactly can you mend?
              • Rewards trader: Weapons, I guess. I became good at mending in...there. If you buy something from me, I should be able to repair it if it's...uh...degraded. Show it to me and I'll see what can be done. I feel...like I can trust you. Let me tell you something: I have a friend in...there, someone who brings me tools and items from that place. That is how I can offer you services that others...can't. Don't tell anyone. Please.
            • I'm done with you.
    • I'm done with you.
      • Player: I'm done with you.
      • Rewards trader: Fine, fine, fine. I'll be here.
    • About the Task System...
      • If the player is free-to-play:
        • Rewards trader: I'm afraid you'll need to be a member to claim any rewards for the task set.
      • If the player is a member:
        • If the player doesn't have rewards to claim:
          • Choose an option:
            • Tell me about the Achievement System.
              • Rewards trader: Very well: the Achievement System is a collection of deeds you may wish to complete while adventuring around the world. You can earn special rewards for completing certain achievements; at the very least, each is worth a cash bounty from Explorer Jack in Lumbridge. Some also give items that will help complete other achievements, and many count as progress towards the set for the area they're in.
              • Choose an option:
                • Tell me about the set reward for this locality.
                  • Player: Tell me about the set reward for this area.
                  • Rewards trader: For completing the Daemonheim set, you are presented with an aura. This aura will become increasingly useful as you complete greater difficulties of task sets. When you are presented with your rewards, you will be told of its uses.
                  • You may also see what rewards a set item provides by hovering over the Rewards icon for its Exploration Achievement set in the Achievements interface.
                  • (Shows previous-to-previous options)
                • How do I claim these rewards?
                  • Player: How do I claim the rewards?
                  • Rewards trader: You need to complete all tasks within a particular difficulty set, then you can claim your reward. Some of the Daemonheim set's tasks are simple, some require certain skill levels, and others require quests to be started or completed. To claim your Daemonheim set rewards, speak to Drangund the Dungeoneering Tutor, Talsar, Thok or myself.
                  • (Shows previous-to-previous options)
                • Sorry, I was just leaving.
                  • (Dialogue ends)
            • Sorry, I was just leaving.
              • (Dialogue ends)
        • If the player has rewards to claim:
          • Player: I've completed all of the medium tasks in the Daemonheim set.
          • Rewards trader: So you have. I have upgraded the aura for you.
          • Player receives Antique lamp (Medium Daemonheim Tasks).
          • Marmaros hands you 2,000 Dungeoneering tokens, and a lamp.
          • Rewards trader: There you go, may it protect you as well as Thok's does his. Oh, and someone gave me this lamp, but it's of no use to me.
          • Player: Thanks!
          • Rewards trader: When you are wearing the aura in Daemonheim you will waste fewer arrows and automatically grind bones. It will also let you through the magical barrier over near the yew trees to the east. In addition to this, because you completed the medium task set, you may now bind one potion and I've also had a word with the smuggler who'll help you out with some runes for each floor. Finally, you'll find your ring of kinship has got a bit more powerful with its secondary style.
