Relomia returns[edit | edit source]

Talking to Closure[edit | edit source]

  • Closure: Right, now we have that Relomia business all sorted out, let's get back to your story!
  • (Quest Overview interface opens.)
    • NOT RIGHT NOW
      • Closure: Whenever you are ready.
    • ACCEPT QUEST
      • Player: Where do you want me to start?
      • Closure: Hmm, there has been one thing that always nagged me. How is it that you are so consistently dupe-[sic] Oh no, not again. Hold that thought...
      • Player: What is it?
      • Closure: *sigh* I'm afraid we'll have to shelve this again. It appears our Relomia situation has hit yet another wrinkle. Bear with me a moment...
      • Relomia appears at the scene.
      • Relomia: Wait, why am I back here again? I thought I was done with all this. Closure, I've got a timeline to protect!
      • Player: Wait, what? Timeline?
      • Relomia: Oh! Hi, Player. Aren't you supposed to be dead?
      • Player: Don't you start.
      • Closure: Spoilers, Relomia. Be mindful of what you say. Player here is from your past.
      • Relomia: Ah, fair enough. Good to see you again, Player. It's been a while.
      • Player: A while? We just went on an adventure together. You used your space wand to skip what was going to be an amazing evil monologue.
      • Relomia: Oh yeah, I remember that one... You know, I knew it was a fabrication from the outset - you weren't exactly subtle about it. But I remember appreciating it at the time - that you went out of your way to set that up for me.
      • Closure: For you, that little 'quest' was recent. This is a version of Relomia from a future point in time. A version very much shaped by that event, and her biography that I loaned her that day. Also a version who is not supposed to be dead herself just yet... So, why exactly are you here, Relomia?
      • Relomia: About that... Yeah, I think I messed up. And possibly more than once.
      • Kami, Meg, and Philipe Carnillean appear in the waiting room.
      • Closure: Ah, I imagine that would be why I have some new arrivals in my waiting room.
      • Relomia: Yeah, so, um... I think I made some poor choices and ended up kinda-sorta getting some of my friends killed.
      • Closure: And as a direct result, that has resulted in your own death. I see.
      • Relomia: Hey, it's not my fault! I mean, it is my fault, but I couldn't help it. *whispers* If Player had, you know...'been around'...
      • Player: Okay, just stop it now, both of you. I'm fine!
      • Relomia: *whispers* ...maybe they could have taught me some of how to do this. It's not like I got a manual with the new...*whispers* Time Guardian gig.
      • Closure: *whispers* Ixnay on the imetay uardiangay. I think they can hear your stage whispering.
      • Relomia: *whispers* Well, I am doing it loud enough.
      • Player: Hey, I didn't know you could speak Zarosian, Closure.
      • Closure: Indeed. Well, perhaps this is as good a time as any for a few lessons. Player, do you think you could once again assist Relomia here? Perhaps give her a few pointers on how to be non-fatally heroic. I think if you chat to the new visitors in the waiting room, you two should be able to figure this out together. I'll be having a cup of tea to soothe this sudden headache I have coming on.

Talking to Closure or Relomia[edit | edit source]

  • Closure: I think if you chat to the new visitors in the waiting room, you two should be able to figure this out together. I'll be having a cup of tea to soothe this sudden headache I have coming on.
  • Relomia: I'll join you in each of their memories. Closure showed me how to.

Talking to an ally in any memory for the first time[edit | edit source]

  • Relomia: Oh yeah, you can't talk to my allies properly - only me.
  • Relomia: These are my memories, so whatever they say is more what I remember them saying than what they actually said.
  • Player: Got it.
  • (Continues below depending on who was talked to.)

Dropping an item in any memory[edit | edit source]

  • Any items dropped here won't persist after leaving this area.

Memory of Meg[edit | edit source]

Talking to Meg in Closure's study[edit | edit source]

First time[edit | edit source]

  • Meg: Well, that didn't quite go to plan, did it, Rel? Hi, Player!
  • Relomia: Don't blame me. I'm surrounded by military genius, yet you let me plan things. Of course it went wrong.
  • Player: What am I helping out with here?
  • Meg: Actually, something I believe you've already done yourself a bunch of times! We're trying to sneak into the Black Knight's Fortress. The Grey Knights a-
  • Relomia: Shut up, Meg! Player here doesn't know about all this stuff yet. Though, I suppose he'll see when they enter this memory...
  • ENTER MEMORY?
    • Yes.
      • Meg: Okay, here we go.
      • Screen fades to black and back in. You appear at the entrance of the Black Knights' Fortress surrounded by Meg, Eva Cashien, Captain Higgs, Relomia, and The Raptor.
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends.)

Afterwards[edit | edit source]

Talking to Meg at Black Knights' Fortress[edit | edit source]

  • Meg: I put on a mean persona, but underneath it all I'm still clumsy! Player taught me everything I know!

Talking to Eva Cashien[edit | edit source]

  • Eva Cashien: I regret betraying my oaths. Tiffy won't speak to me anymore. I must atone. Also, Relomia is pretty cool.

Talking to Captain Higgs[edit | edit source]

  • Captain Higgs: I am actually scary, but fiercely loyal to my found family. Now I'm a captain, my name isn't as funny.

Talking to The Raptor[edit | edit source]

  • Raptor: I am not impressed. I am not impressed. Rargh, rargh, I am a big meanie, but inside probably cute and fluffy.

Talking to Relomia[edit | edit source]

  • WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ASK?
    • What is this memory?
      • Player: So, what are you dealing with here?
      • Relomia: Right, so, these are some of the Grey's Knights - a rag-tag collection of knights from other orders who became disillusioned with the constant warring and infighting. We've got ex-members of the Black and White Knights, Crux Eqal, Void Knights, some ex-Godless - remember them? - and even a few Abyssal Knights! We're sort of a mercenary group, but we do heroic stuff too. Right now, we were on a mission for Adrasteia to sabotage the latest Black Knight plot.
      • Player: Oh, I know this one! Just throw a cabbage in the cauldron!
      • Relomia: Alright Brassica - that might have worked back in your day, but things aren't so simple for our generation. No, we need to be subtle, and sneak in a few of us unnoticed. Everyone has to get in. We've got a role to play if we're going to succeed here.
      • (Shows the previous options.)
    • What is everyone doing?
      • Player: Where is everyone assigned so far?
      • (If no-one has been assigned:)
        • Relomia: Nobody is assigned to a task yet. Have a look around this memory to find things for everyone to do.
        • (Shows the previous options.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the front door:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to sneak in through the front.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the roof access:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to climb up to infiltrate via the roof.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the Black Knight patrol:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to get captured ahead of time and bust out of prison.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If the Raptor is assigned to [break in at the front/climb up to the roof/get captured ahead of time/delay Sutcliffe's return]:)
        • Relomia: The Raptor is going to [help whoever is going in the front entrance/help whoever is climbing up to the roof/get captured early, along with whoever else is doing that/be a decoy and delay Lieutenant Sutcliffe's return].
        • (Shows the previous options.)
    • Assign a task to the Raptor.
      • (If The Raptor is unassigned:)
        • Relomia: What would you suggest our free agent does? We hired the Raptor as a bit of muscle for this job.
        • WHAT SHOULD THE RAPTOR DO?
          • Break in at the front!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Climb up to the roof!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Get captured ahead of time!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Delay Sutcliffe's return!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Nothing for now.
            • (Continues below.)
        • (If a new position was selected:)
          • Screen fades to black and back in. The Raptor appears in assigned position.
        • (If the old position was selected:)
          • Relomia: That's what they're already assigned to.
      • (If The Raptor had previously been assigned to break in at the front:)
        • Relomia: The Raptor is going to help whoever is going in the front entrance.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If The Raptor had previously been assigned to climb up to the roof:)
        • Relomia: The Raptor is going to help whoever is climbing up to the roof.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If The Raptor had previously been assigned to get captured ahead of time:)
        • Relomia: The Raptor is going to get captured early, along with whoever else is doing that.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If The Raptor had previously been assigned to delay Sutcliffe's return:)
        • Relomia: The Raptor is going to be a decoy and delay Lieutenant Sutcliffe's return.
        • (Continues below.)
      • Relomia: Are you happy with that or do you want to reassign them?
      • REASSIGN THE RAPTOR?
    • Play back memory.
    • Exit memory.
      • You reappear next to Meg in Closure's waiting room.

Checking assignments at Relomia[edit | edit source]

Assigning free agent at Relomia[edit | edit source]

Playing memory at Relomia[edit | edit source]

Assigning ally at Black Knight patrol, front door, or roof access[edit | edit source]

  • (If assigning at the Black Knight patrol:)
    • Relomia: Oh, right! One of us could get captured early, on purpose, then do a jail break.
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If assigning at the front door:)
    • Relomia: Yeah, someone should sneak in right through the front door! Who would be best for that?
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If assigning at the roof access:)
    • Relomia: Ooh, good idea. Someone already familiar with the fortress could sneak in via the roof.
    • (Continues below.)
  • ASSIGN WHICH ALLY?
    • Meg.
      • (Continues below.)
    • Eva Cashien.
      • (Continues below.)
    • Captain Higgs.
      • (Continues below.)
    • Nobody just yet.
      • (If nobody had been assigned before at this object:)
        • Relomia: Okay, let's come back to this later.
  • (If no-one had been assigned before at this object:)
    • Screen fades out and back in. The selected ally appears next to the object, or no ally if none was selected.
  • (If someone had been assigned before at this object:)
    • (If the selected ally is different from the old assignment:)
      • Relomia: Someone else is already assigned here. Do you want to replace them with someone else?
      • REPLACE ASSIGNED ALLY?
        • Yes.
          • Screen fades out and back in. The selected ally appears next to the object, or no ally if none was selected.
        • No.
          • (Dialogue ends.)
    • (If the selected ally is the same as in the old assignment:)
      • Relomia: That's what they're already assigned to...

Playing the memory[edit | edit source]

Without Meg, Eva, Higgs, and The Raptor assigned[edit | edit source]

  • (If Meg, Eva, or Higgs is unassigned:)
    • Relomia: We can't see how this plays out until you've assigned Meg, Eva and Higgs to something.
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If The Raptor is unassigned:)
    • Relomia: The Raptor still needs something to do.

With Meg, Eva, Higgs, and The Raptor assigned[edit | edit source]

  • Cutscene starts. Several Black Knights and the Black Knight patrol are shown.

      • Meg: You, obviously, you idiot. What you gonna do?
      • Black Knight: Get lost kid.
      • Meg: Wait? Aren't you going to capture me and lock me away?
      • Black Knight: Not likely. I've known you less than a minute and I'm already annoyed.
      • Black Knight: I'm not putting up with you in our cells.
      • Meg: Aww, please.
      • Black Knight: Go home!
      • (Continues below.)
    • (If Eva is assigned here:)
      • The Black Knights walk up to Eva.
      • Eva Cashien: Oi!

      • Eva Cashien: Hey!

      • Black Knight attacks Higgs.
      • (Continues below.)
  • (If The Raptor is assigned here:)
    • The Black Knights walk up to the allies.
    • Black Knight: Hey, you're a little lost. Arrest them!

    • Black Knight: Fine by me.
    • The Raptor: I mean that you won't be alive to arrest me, fool. Die!
    • The Raptor attacks the Black Knight.
    • (Continues below.)
  • Screen fades to black and back in to show the roof.
  • (If Meg is assigned here:)

    • Meg: Oh no, such a clutz.
    • A patrolling Black Knight appears.
    • (If The Raptor isn't assigned here:)
      • Black Knight: Hey, you! What are you doing up here?
      • Meg: Umm...What are you doing up here?
      • Black Knight: What?
      • Meg: Er, get back to your duties?
      • Black Knight: Huh?
      • Meg: That's an order, soldier!
      • Black Knight: Yessir! Wait, no, I mean INTRUDER!
      • Meg: Oops!

    • A patrolling Black Knight appears.
    • Black Knight: What's that noise?
    • (If The Raptor isn't assigned here:)

      • (Continues below.)
    • (If The Raptor is assigned here:)

      • Black Knight: Well, I'm convinced. Open the gate!
      • (Continues below.)
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If Eva is assigned here:)
    • Eva Cashien: Hey, let me in.
    • Black Knight: Yeah, right, 'cos we just open up the door for our enemies.
    • Eva Cashien: Let me in...or else.
    • (If The Raptor isn't assigned here:)
      • Black Knight: Ooh, what's 'else'? I choose 'else'! This should be good.
      • Eva Cashien: Darn, I thought that would work.
      • (Continues below.)
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If Higgs is assigned here:)
    • Captain Higgs: Open the gate, guard, now!

    • The Raptor: Um, WHAT?
    • Black Knight: Just get out of here, both of you!
    • The Raptor: Just open up and die!
    • Black Knight: No, thank you. INTRUDERS!
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If The Raptor is assigned to delay Sutcliffe:)
    • Screen fades to black and back in to show Sutcliffe.
    • The Raptor: Sutcliffe...
    • Lieutenant Sutcliffe: That's me. Identify yourself.
    • The Raptor: I am your death.
    • Lieutenant Sutcliffe: I don't have time, stand aside!
    • The Raptor: Fight me.
    • Lieutenant Sutcliffe: I have guards for that.
    • The Raptor: They aren't here.
    • Lieutenant Sutcliffe: What about the ones over there?
    • The Raptor: Those are part of an earlier memory.
    • Lieutenant Sutcliffe: Oh, right, well then I...I'll tell on you.
    • The Raptor: Not impressed.
    • Lieutenant Sutcliffe: Oh, dear. I'm going now!

    • Meg: It worked! We've done it!
    • (Continues below.)
  • Cutscene ends.
  • (If any of the assignments were incorrect:)
    • Relomia: No, something still went wrong... Let's try again.
  • (If all of the assignments were correct:)
    • You reappear next to Meg in Closure's waiting room.

Talking to Meg again in Closure's study[edit | edit source]

  • Meg: You never stop being a good teacher, Player.
  • Player: That's an eclectic bunch of allies you've got there.
  • Relomia: Strange times make for strange bedfellows. We were all just a bit fed up with the status quo.
  • Meg: It's a good lesson - if you can't do something yourself, ask for help. See you!
  • Screen fades to black and back in. Meg has left.
  • (If all of the memories have been resolved:)

Memory of Philipe[edit | edit source]

Talking to Philipe Carnillean in Closure's study[edit | edit source]

First time[edit | edit source]

  • Philipe Carnillean: Hey, Relly. And is that you, Player? Wow, I haven't seen you si-
  • Relomia: Mind what you say, Phil. Player here is from our past. Best not tell him too much.
  • Philipe Carnillean: Surely he already knows about the Teragardian Crusade! Who wouldn't by this point?
  • Relomia: *shh* No, not yet! Well, I suppose he'll need some context before jumping into this memory...
  • ENTER MEMORY?
    • Yes.
      • Philipe Carnillean: Okay, here we go.
      • Screen fades to black and back in. Player appears next to the World Gate surrounded by Oreb, Zilyana, Philipe, Nymora, and Relomia.
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends.)

Afterwards[edit | edit source]

Attempting to enter the Huge Gate[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I don't think Relomia ever went in here.

Talking to Oreb[edit | edit source]

  • Oreb: I'm all mysterious and emotional, woo! I mess around with soul magic that I probably shouldn't, but only because I'm edgy. I also smell funny.

Talking to Commander Zilyana[edit | edit source]

  • Commander Zilyana: Urgh, I am so much better than you plebeians. Still, I will defend Saradomin's good name, and fight to stop these Teragardians from sullying it. I have cool hair, too. So there's that.

Talking to Philipe Carnillean at World Gate[edit | edit source]

  • Philipe: I'm far cheerful for someone with this haircut, and still subsist on sweets. I know a lot about Kandarin's history, though, so I am at least somewhat useful.

Talking to Nymora, the Vengeful[edit | edit source]

  • Nymora: It's vengeance this and vengeance that with me! Steal my food, insult my intelligence, kill my sisters... I'll get you back!

Talking to Relomia[edit | edit source]

  • WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ASK?
    • What is this memory?
      • Player: Wait, the World Gate?
      • Relomia: Yeah, I'll be vague here. This here is a Bright Inquisitor - one of Teragard's heavy hitters. The Teragardians have come to 'spread the word of Saradomin'...through violence and subjugation.
      • Player: But we have Saradomin. Most human cities already worship him.
      • Relomia: Yeah... Well, this lot think that our Saradomin is a pretender. They worship the 'REAL' Saradomin, so they say. Follow him, or die. And mostly it ends up being 'die'. So, we're fighting back - loose alliances, because Teragardian magitech is overpowered. They're so hard to kill, we're just trying to push this one back through the World Gate and strand him someplace else.
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the World Gate controls:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to dial the gate to Teragard.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the defender position:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to defend whoever is dialling the gate.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the Bright Inquisitor:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to attack the Bright Inquisitor to push him back.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If Oreb is assigned to [help with the gate code/defend whoever's on gate control/kill the Bright Inquisitor/taunt the Bright Inquisitor]:)
        • Relomia: Oreb is going to [help whoever is dialling the gate, to make sure they get the right address/defend whoever is dialling the gate/Oreb is going to kill the Bright Inquisitor for us! Easy game/Oreb is going to taunt the Bright Inquisitor to distract him long enough for us to enact our plan].
        • (Continues below.)
      • (Shows the previous options.)
    • Assign a task to Oreb.
      • (If Oreb is unassigned:)
        • Relomia: What would you suggest our free agent does? We coerced Oreb into helping us out - he's an ex-Magister of Teragard. Enemy of my enemy and all that.
        • WHAT SHOULD OREB DO?
          • Help with the gate code!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Defend whoever's on gate control!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Kill the Bright Inquisitor!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Taunt the Bright Inquisitor!
            • (Continues below.)
          • Do nothing for now.
            • (Continues below.)
        • (If a new position was selected:)
          • Screen fades to black and back in. Oreb appears in assigned position.
        • (If the old position was selected:)
          • Relomia: That's what he's already assigned to.
      • (If Oreb had previously been assigned to help with the gate code:)

      • REASSIGN OREB?

    • Relomia: No, something still went wrong... Let's try again.
  • (If all of the assignments were correct:)
    • You reappear next to Philipe Carnillean in Closure's waiting room.

Talking to Philipe again in Closure's study[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Are things always bad in the future?
  • Relomia: Nah, It's not much different from when you are now. There's always another big bad.
  • Philipe Carnillean: And always heroes to stand against them. Thanks for the help, Player - those Inquisitors are tough.
  • Relomia: Which is why knowing your allies' strengths and weaknesses is crucial. Another good lesson.
  • Philipe Carnillean: Well, see you both later!
  • Screen fades to black and back in. Philipe has left.
  • (If all of the memories have been resolved:)

Memory of Kami[edit | edit source]

Talking to Kami in Closure's study[edit | edit source]

First time[edit | edit source]

  • Kami: Oh! Hi, Player! It's me, Kami. Am I dead? I'm surprised I haven't just dissipated into the ether. This is exciting!
  • Player: Kami, what happened?
  • Kami: Well, we were on Kami-shima trying to stop the Tiger's Claw fr-
  • Relomia: Spoilers... Let's jump into my memory of this moment, minimise what Player learns of the future.
  • ENTER MEMORY?
    • Yes.
      • Kami: Okay, here we go.
      • Screen fades to black and back in. You appear in the Arc surrounded by Honovi, Kami, Sojobo, and Fraji.
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends.)

Afterwards[edit | edit source]

Talking to Honovi[edit | edit source]

  • Honovi: I am so boring and without humour, it's not even funny - which is kind of the point. My big, strong hands are my best feature, and I do have some impressive horns.

Talking to Kami in the Arc[edit | edit source]

  • Kami: I act all young and precocious, but ask me the right questions and I know the very secrets of the universe.

Talking to Sojobo[edit | edit source]

  • Sojobo: I have all the knowledge of the Gu available to me, but I just use it to play practical jokes on people. Plus, I think I'm hiding the fact that Shanao has been dead for years and the mask is just puppeteering a corpse. That's pretty cool, though, so I don't tell people otherwise.

Talking to Fraji[edit | edit source]

  • *wurf* I am a big, dumb dog-lion-animal thing and I slobber way too much. I don't really know what else to say.

Talking to Relomia[edit | edit source]

  • WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ASK?
    • What is this memory?
      • Player: Where is this?
      • Relomia: Welcome to Kami-shima Island! Well, my memory of it, at least. I teamed up with these three to help defeat the Tiger's Claw, a bunch of organised criminals who are trying to harvest foo lions to make homeopathic 'medicine'.
      • Player: That's awful! Killing poor, defenceless creatures... Snake oil merchants, the lot of 'em.
      • Relomia: Hey, snake oil works! It's good for aching joints. The foo lion stuff is all bunk, though, of course. Not that they're defenceless, but the Claw are relentless. We were working to, er, create a new anima guardian to defend them, or something. Sorry, I probably said too much.
      • Player: Fair enough, but how can I help?
      • Relomia: Well, we were racing against time to open this big door, but I'm terrible at puzzles - hate the things. I'm still not sure how a puzzle got Kami killed, though. Please, help us.
      • (Shows the previous options.)
    • What is everyone doing?
      • Player: Where is everyone assigned so far?
      • (If no-one has been assigned:)
        • Relomia: Nobody is assigned to a task yet. Have a look around this memory to find things for everyone to do.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the strange symbols:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to decipher the symbols.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the door:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to stand by the door, then hold it open when the puzzle is solved.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If an ally has been assigned to the intricate puzzle:)
        • Relomia: [Ally] is going to move the puzzle pieces about.
        • (Continues below.)
      • (If Fraji has been assigned to [support the person at the symbols/support the person at the door/support the person at the puzzle/fend off the Tiger's Claw]:)
        • Relomia: Fraji is going to [give emotional support to whoever is at the symbols/give emotional support to whoever is at the door/give emotional support to whoever is at the puzzle/join the island's other foos to fend off the Tiger's Claw].
        • (Continues below.)
      • (Shows the previous options.)
    • Assign a task to Fraji.
      • (If Fraji is unassigned:)
        • Relomia: What would you suggest our free agent does? Fraji is Kami's pet foo lion. She's great for emotional support, but also a fierce protector.
        • WHAT SHOULD FRAJI DO?
          • Support the person at the symbols.
            • (Continues below.)
          • Support the person at the door.
            • (Continues below.)
          • Support the person at the puzzle.

          • Fend off the Tiger's Claw!

          • Do nothing for now.
            • (Continues below.)
        • (If a new position was selected:)
          • Screen fades to black and back in. Fraji appears in assigned position.
        • (If the old position was selected:)
          • Relomia: That's what she's already assigned to.
      • (If Fraji had previously been assigned to support the person at the symbols:)
        • Relomia: Fraji is going to give emotional support to whoever is at the symbols.

Assigning ally at big door, intricate lock, or strange symbols[edit | edit source]

  • (If assigning at big door:)
    • Relomia: We need someone to go through the door when the puzzle's done, to meet with the island spirits or whatever and convince them to make a foo guardian. It'd have be someone with a lot of knowledge of spirits and stuff.
    • (Continues below.)
  • (If assigning at intricate lock:)
    • Relomia: Those stone balls look heavy - they need someone big and strong to move them about.
    • (Continues below.)

    • Relomia: Yeah, I'm not good at this. Someone with a lot of knowledge of Wushanko needs to translate the symbols to help solve the puzzle.

Talking to Kami again in Closure's study[edit | edit source]

  • Player: What was all that with the foo lions? Who - or what - is the Tiger's Claw?
  • Relomia: Probably best you don't know.
  • Kami: Wow! Seems like I have a few more adventures in me! Thanks Player, thanks Mia! See you in the future!
  • Relomia: Thanks for believing in me. I just need to learn to persevere.
  • Screen fades to black and back in. Kami has left.
  • (If all of the memories have been resolved:)

Finishing up[edit | edit source]

After all of the memories[edit | edit source]

  • Relomia: You did it! Thank you, Player. I feel wiser already.

Talking to Closure or Relomia[edit | edit source]

  • Relomia: Hey, Player of the past, it's been great seeing you again, however brief. You've been a big help, I've learned a bunch and you helped keep my friends and allies alive. But I can't stick around - Time Guardian stuff to do, you know how it is.
  • Player: Er, yeah, I guess, sort of. I'm happy to see that future Relomia is doing well, though. You really came a long way...or will come a long way.
  • Relomia: Yeah, it's the journey and all that. Don't be too harsh on present me, she's still learning. Oh - and reading her/my biography, thanks to Closure here. I liked the version of me towards the end of the book. She gave me the push I needed for change.
  • Player: If only we could all get advance copies, hey?
  • Closure: Don't even joke, I have my work cut out for me as it is.
  • Relomia: Still, it's been real, but I'm off. One last thing about all those lives we've spared in the waiting room...! Do you really think you can save them?
  • Closure: Relomia!
  • Relomia: Haha! It's a joke! I'm pulling your leg. Bye!
  • Relomia returns back to the future.
  • Closure: Well, that's that.

Talking to Closure after Relomia leaves[edit | edit source]

  • Closure: Ah, some peace at last. We can rest in the knowledge that future Relomia will become a successful hero and a force for good in the world. Well, mostly. She is still Relomia.
  • (Without space in backpack:)
    • Closure: I am sure we both have other things to do, so free up some inventory space for you reward, will you?
    • (Continues below.)
  • Subquest complete!
  • Congratulations! You have completed: 'Finale (miniquest)' - Complete this Novice miniquest.
  • (If the Golden Partyhat Hunt is active:)
    • (Without space in backpack or bank for a shard:)
      • You receive a golden partyhat shard! However, you do not have enough space. You can reclaim this from the Wise Old Man, at the Varrock Grand Exchange.
      • (Continues below.)
    • (Without space in backpack and space in bank for a shard:)
      • Congratulations! You have a golden partyhat shard! You can find it in your bank.
      • (Continues below.)
    • (With space in backpack:)

Post-subquest dialogue[edit | edit source]

Talking to Closure without having claimed XP lamp[edit | edit source]

  • (Without space in backpack:)
    • Closure: I am sure we both have other things to do, so free up some inventory space for you reward, will you?
  • (With space in backpack:)
    • Closure: You forgot to collect this reward for mentoring future Relomia.
    • Player receives medium XP lamp (event).
    • Closure hands over a medium XP lamp.

Talking to Closure[edit | edit source]

First time[edit | edit source]

  • Closure: I apologise, Player. I started out wishing to tell your story, but it ended up being about Relomia.
  • Player: That's okay.
  • Closure: Still, she is something of a mirror to you. Duped by Mahjarrat; helped heroes who weren't really heroes; hurt villains that weren't really villains; became a hero of renown; and eventually a guardian protecting all. Besides, aren't we all just characters in other people's stories?
  • Player: Huh. I've never thought of it like that before.
  • Closure: We're all the hero of our own story, but we must consider if we are another person's ally or antagonist...or perhaps just a bit character.
  • Player: So, shall we make another go of it? Ready to write my story now?
  • Closure: Hmm, perhaps another time. All this recent excitement has drained me. If you wouldn't mind, I think I'm going to take a bit of a break.
  • Player: Some other time, then.
  • Quest complete!
  • Congratulations! You have completed: 'Once Upon a Time in Gielinor' - Complete this Novice quest.

Afterwards[edit | edit source]

  • Closure: Yes, I think a bit of a break would be just the ticket. Your story can wait at least a week.
  • Player: I do wish you'd stop implying that I might die soon.
  • Closure: Don't worry, your deal with Death is good. You'll respawn at least another ten times before your biography becomes my top priority.
  • Player: And again! Ten respawns? I think you're just messing with me on purpose now.
  • Closure: My apologies. I see it now. I'll be more careful with my wording. Say, would you mind keeping an eye on things while I'm taking a break? There shouldn't be any issues now the Relomia situation is resolved. I'll be back in no time. Bye!
  • Closure teleport out.
  • Player: But I've got things to d- and he's gone.

Opening Closure's door[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Well, I suppose it can't hurt to have a quick look while he's away...
  • ENTER CLOSURE'S PERSONAL SPACE?
    • Yes.
      • Screens fades to black and back in. You enter into Closure's personal space.
    • No.
      • Player: No, I'd better not.

Invading Closure's drawers[edit | edit source]

Without the clue scroll[edit | edit source]

  • Player: There's something in here...
  • (Without space in backpack:)
    • Player: I don't have room to take it, though.
  • (With space in backpack:)

With the clue scroll[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I already have the clue scroll that was in here.

After talking to Relomia[edit | edit source]

  • Player: There's nothing else of note in here. I should return to talk to Relomia in Draynor Village.

      • Light voice: Hey, Relomia's cool in my book. Don't be mean.
      • Relomia, Emissary of Sliske: Thanks, Light, you're my favourite but - *shh* - don't tell Shadow.
      • Player: You can hear them!
      • Relomia, Emissary of Sliske: Obviously. I have my own. They're not like yours, mine are green and blue. The blue one's all spontaneous and curious; the green one measured and cautious.
