First time

• Ogre guard: Stop, creature! Only ogres and their friends allowed in this city. Show me a sign of companionship, like a lost relic or somefing, and you may pass. Until then, back to whence you came!
• The guard pushes you back down the hill.
• The ogre guard pushes the player, who falls back. Fade out/in. The player appears just east of the Gu'Tanoth god statue and takes damage for 5% of their current life points.
• If the player walks somewhere:
  • Player: Urrrrrgh!

Afterwards

• Ogre guard: Well, what proof of friendship did you bring?
• Player: I don't have anything.
• Ogre guard: Why have you returned with no proof of companionship? Back to whence you came!

Eastern gate

First time

• Ogre guard: Halt! You cannot pass here.
• Player: I am a friend to ogres.
• Ogre guard: You will be my friend only with gold. Bring me a bar of pure gold and I will let you pass. For now - begone!

• Player: No, I don't have it.
• Ogre guard: No gold, no passage. Get out of this city!
