Starting out[edit | edit source]

Leaping off of first bridge edge

  • Mystery Uncovered: 'Howl's Floating Workshop'.

Gee'ka[edit | edit source]

Talking to Gee'ka about the Howl's Floating Workshop mystery before discovering the Floating Workshop[edit | edit source]

  • Player: The winsguit[sic] is amazing! I can fly, I can really fly!
  • Gee'ka: It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? So freeing. I've had the team look into it some more, and the current theory is that they are powered in part by the gravitational core at the centre of Stormguard - the Boots of Flight too. Which means both of them only work within a certain distance from the core. So, enjoy the flying while you can, but I'm afraid it's confined to this citadel.
  • (After interacting with the gravitational core:)
    • Player: I flew right near the gravitational core. I think I can see a way up to a piece of Stormguard floating higher than the rest. It felt like there was more lift near the core, but nowhere near enough to get that high.
    • (If the wingsuit hasn't been upgraded to v3:)
      • Gee'ka: Well, keep your eyes peeled. There must be something up there that will assist you.
      • (If a gravitron repulsor has been attached:)
        • Player: I've found another type of upgrade - this one's called a gravitron repulsor.
        • Gee'ka: Hmm, sounds like something that would react to the gravitational core, maybe give you more boost upwards...
    • (If the wingsuit has been upgraded to v3:)
      • Player: I found a second gravitron repulsor - I've got a wingsuit v3 now! I'm going to attempt to use the gravitational core to reach the building higher up!
      • Gee'ka: This could be it! This could be what we've been working towards since we got here!

Talking to Gee'ka about the Howl's Floating Workshop mystery after discovering the Floating Workshop but before researching Back to the Drawing Board[edit | edit source]

  • Player: The building high up is in really bad shape - it's almost been pulled in half!
  • Gee'ka: I'd say tread carefully, but you can fly up there now, so you should be fine.
  • Player: It looks like an inventor's workshop - it's full of diagrams and scribblings and strange contraptions.
  • Gee'ka: Ah, yes, this would most likely have been Howl's workshop. He was an aviansie alchemist of renown.
  • Player: I also found a book that seems to be written in code. I can't make heads or tails of it.
  • Gee'ka: Well, he was an inventor during war time. It makes sense he would try to keep his ideas safe.
  • Player: I think I need to get a research team on this, try to crack the code...

Talking to Gee'ka about the Howl's Floating Workshop mystery after researching Back to the Drawing Board[edit | edit source]

  • Player: My research team was able to crack Howl's cipher! I can finally understand his designs and blueprints!
  • Gee'ka: This is amazing news, Player. As a fellow tinkerer, I hope we can share in this discovery. I would love to connect back to one of my inventive forebirds!
  • If you have completed the mystery
    • Player: Of course. I've set up Howl's old drawing board inside his workshop. We can use that to piece together all of these blueprint fragments the team here has been finding.

Missing upgrades[edit | edit source]

Interacting with gravitational core before having wingsuit v3[edit | edit source]

  • Player launches slightly into the air, but falls back down.
  • Player: Huh? I felt some extra lift there, and there's a building right above me...but it's not enough to reach it.

Interacting with gravitational core with wingsuit v3, but no Stormguard gerege[edit | edit source]

  • Player launches slightly into the air, but falls back down.
  • Player: I don't get it. I upgraded the wingsuit, and I started to feel a lot of lift, but then just fell back down. In fact, it felt a bit like when I first tried to use the portal to get here in the first place. I wonder...

Wingsuit v3[edit | edit source]

Picking up first gravitron repulsor[edit | edit source]

  • Player: Another wingsuit upgrade, but this one is different from the security upgrades. It's giving off some sort of force. I think it attaches beneath each wing. I dub thee...a gravitron repulsor.
  • Take and install the wingsuit upgrade?
    • Yes.
      • Player picks up the gravitron repulsor.
      • Player: That's one! Now for the last upgrade...
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends)

Picking up second gravitron repulsor[edit | edit source]

  • Player: It's a second gravitron repulsor!
  • Take and install the wingsuit upgrade?
    • Yes.
      • Player picks up the gravitron repulsor.
      • Player: That upgraded to wingsuit to v3! That should be enough to bounce off the gravitational core!
    • No.
      • (Dialogue ends)

The following text is transcluded from Transcript:Back to the Drawing Board.

Back to the Drawing Board
Before studying
Field Study: I have yet to find any information on this.

After studying
Field Study: A drafting table sits within Stormguard's workshop, upon which sit many blueprints, notes and books all written in an unusual cipher.

Report: I need to get my team to do some further research.

Report: The research team have cracked Howl's cipher! We can now understand this eccentric alchemist's designs and start trying to build some of them...
