- Harbringer of destruction: I see someone has come to listen to the truth. I have foreseen, and the battle in Lumbridge serves only to prove that I am correct.
- Player: What have you foreseen?
- Harbringer of destruction: The events in Lumbridge are just the start.
- Harbringer of destruction: Soon, the world will be destroyed; the gods will wipe clean the slate that is Gielinor and they will start anew.
- Harbringer of destruction: All we have created will be destroyed, and all that we were will be lost.
- Player: That's a bit depressing.
- Harbringer of destruction: It may be, but it is the only future we have left.
- Player: I have to go.
- Harbringer of destruction: Be prepared! The end of all we know is upon us.
- Player: Can we do anything about it?
- Harbringer of destruction: If only we could! But I cannot see a future in which the world survives. We are all doomed.
- Player: You mentioned Lumbridge?
- Harbringer of destruction: You haven't heard?
- Harbringer of destruction: The power holding the gods at bay has diminished.
- Harbringer of destruction: A portal from another dimension was opened near Lumbridge, for the first time since the Third Age.
- Harbringer of destruction: The god to cross the barrier was Zamorak himself, returning to Gielinor in search of power.
- Harbringer of destruction: Saradomin arrived shortly afterward in search of that same power.
- Harbringer of destruction: But the first thing they saw was each other, and they fell into battle, even as their followers joined them.
- Harbringer of destruction: Before long, there was a stalemate, with each holding the other at bay, unable to gain the upper hand.
- Harbringer of destruction: But it was not just the gods themselves - their armies followed, and began to fight.
- Harbringer of destruction: Soon they were tearing up the ground, searching for artefacts of power to aid their god.
- Harbringer of destruction: Now, even the people of Gielinor are joining in the fight, trying to give their chosen god the power to win the battle.
- Player: Can I do anything?
- Harbringer of destruction: You could join the cause of either god.
- Harbringer of destruction: The supporters of both Saradomin and Zamorak are asking assistance from anyone who is willing to help.
- Harbringer of destruction: You don't have to fight either: You can help collect objects of power, and both camps offer a reward for your aid.
- Harbringer of destruction: If you want, you can join the followers of Saradomin by going to the camp at the north of the battlefield.
- Harbringer of destruction: You can follow Zamorak if you go to the south.
- Harbringer of destruction: The battlefield lies west of Lumbridge castle, between Lumbridge and Draynor.
- Player: Thanks for the directions!
- Harbringer of destruction: It matters not to me, I know the end is nigh.
- Player: What is happening in Lumbridge?
- Same as "You mentioned Lumbridge?"
