- (If the player has some valkyrie feathers, and hasn't unlocked all the rewards:)
- (Dialogue from handing in occurs, then continues below.)
- Eir: Here weeps a world-wound, where the essence of the Most High bleeds into the air. I fear the End of Things may be upon us. With Hati, Sköll and Fenrir once more in the world, I must stand vigil here to keep them at bay.
- Select an option
- (If this option wasn't used last:)
- Who are you?
- Eir: I am Eir, a valkyrie - guardian of the realm to which the longhall people go when they are slain. We met once, when you approached its gates before your time.
- (Returns to the previous options.)
- (After another dialogue option has been chosen, and if not chosen last:)
- What are you doing here?
- (Repeats the initial dialogue then returns to the previous options.)
- (If this option wasn't used last, and after the "Can I help?" option after asking about rewards, or after "What rewards can I get" after asking if you can help:)
- The End of Things?
- Eir: The world's last days, as the scrolls and sagas say: when god fights god, and every field is drenched with heroes' blood. Did we not speak of this, when we last met? Now that Fenrir appears, we fear the End of Things is at hand. Inside my hall, the glorious dead prepare to play their role. I, too, must arm myself for war.
- (Returns to the previous options.)
- (If this option wasn't used last:)
- What rewards can I get?
- Eir: You will be rewarded with a variety of Jormungand weapons.
- Player: Oh boy! What kind of weapons!?
- Eir: There will be some swords, a staff, and a bow. As well as a matching Jormungand cape. But if that's not your style we also have some Huginn and Muninn blades!
- Player: Huginn and Muninn blades! It's just what I've always wanted! There can't possibly be anything else.
- Eir: You will also have exclusive access to our chariot for all your teleportation needs and an adorable Valkyrie bobblehead pet.
- Player: Wow! Really!? I feel like the End of Things has come and I've gone to the Hall of Fallen Warriors!
- Eir: ... I'm just going to pretend you didn't say that. If you can gather enough valkyrie feathers to restore our wings you will gain the greatest honour of all. I will make you an honourary valkyrie with the 'of the Valkyrie' title.
- Player: Amazing! Sounds like I better get to it!
- (Returns to the previous options.)
- (If this option wasn't used last:)
- Can I help?
- Eir: We must bring the valkyries into this world to stop the End of Things. To do so I need you to bring me Valkyrie feathers, which are hidden around the world.
- (If the Jormungand ring hasn't been returned:)
- Eir: You can also bring me the Jormungand ring, I am not of this world and cannot retrieve it myself. Hati, Sköll or Fenrir may have it. It could also be hidden within the greater wisps that float around the world-wound.
- (Continues below.)
- Eir: I will reward you greatly for any help you can provide.
- (Returns to the previous options.)
- Goodbye.
- (The dialogue terminates.)
- Eir: You have my thanks adventurer. We could not have repelled the wolves without you.
- Player: Always happy to help, especially when it comes to the impending apocalypse.
- Player: So, what happens now?
- Eir: My valkyries and I shall return to the Fremennik spiritual realm and resume our usual duties.
- Player: That sounds like fun! Maybe someday I'll come visit!
- Player: Again!
- Eir: Let's hope not adventurer...

First time, without her items[edit | edit source]
- Eir: Seers say these golden apples once kept the gods young. But no apples could protect my god, the Most High Guthix, from the trickster who woke him to his death. Here weeps a world-wound, where the essence of the Most High bleeds into the air. I fear the End of Things may be upon us. With Hati and Sköll oncemore in the world, I must stand vigil here to keep them at bay.
- (If this option wasn't used last:)

- (After another dialogue option has been chosen:)
- What are you doing here?
- (Same as when talking to her for the first time.)
- (If this option wasn't used last:)
- The End of Things?
- Eir: The world's last days, as the scrolls and sagas say: when god fights god, and every field is drenched with heroes' blood. Did we not speak of this, when we last met? - (If this option wasn't used last:)
- Can I help?
- Eir: Bring me my arms: my spear and magic helmet. I am not of this world, and cannot reach them myself. Hati and Sköll have them - the wolves who chase the moon and sun. They also hide within the greater wisps that float around the world-wound. Each hero may find one, many times, but not both. To get the other, you must find another hero, and arrange a trade. Return to me with both and you will be rewarded.
- Goodbye.
- (The dialogue terminates.)
Afterwards, without her items[edit | edit source]
- Eir: I need my spear and helmet. The winter wolves have them, and the greater wisps of the world-wound.
- (Continues with the options from first time.)
Afterwards, with Eir's helmet[edit | edit source]
- Eir: You have my helmet! But I also need my spear. Find another helmet, and trade it with another hero to get my spear, then bring them to me.
- (Continues with the options from first time.)
Afterwards, with Eir's spear[edit | edit source]
- Eir: You have my spear! But I also need my helmet. Find another spear, and trade it with another hero to get my helmet, and then bring them to me.
- (Continues with the options from first time.)
- Eir: My spear and helmet! Thank you, hero. Will you give them to me?
- Yes, take them.
- Eir: I can aid you in Divination, or in Prayer. Which do you choose?
- (Skill selection interface opens.)
- (If a selection isn't made:)
- You must choose an appropriate skill.
- (If a selection is made:)
- Eir: You have Valhalla's thanks! The semblance of my arms is yours to wear. Depart in peace, hero.
- You can now access cosmetic override versions of the valkyrie spear and helmet from the Wardrobe interface.
- Not now.
- (The dialogue terminates.)
- Eir: You have Valhalla's thanks! The semblance of my arms is yours to wear. Depart in peace, hero.
