Conversation 1[edit | edit source]

  • Player: I have to ask, what exactly IS the cost of using a dragonkin lamp?
  • Effy: I'm not sure I can tell you that ...
  • Player: Pleeease, I really want to know!
  • Effy: Okay fine, but don't tell anyone I told you. The cost of using a dragonkin lamp is... random amount of GP.

  • Effy: I'm hungry...
  • Player: I have some fish in my bank you could have.
  • Effy: No, I don't need food, I need knowledge!
    • (One of these lines is randomly said)
    • Player: It's possible to lead a cow upstairs[sic] but not downstairs.
    • Player: Honeybees have a type of hair on their eyes!
    • Player: The average person falls asleep in seven minutes.
    • Player: A snail can sleep for three years.
    • Player: A shark is the only fish that can blink with both eyes.
    • Player: A unicorn can look forward with one eye and back with the other.
    • Player: One quarter of the bones in a human's body are in their feet.
    • Player: Pteronophobia is the fear of being tickled by feathers!
    • Player: A flock of crows is known as a murder.
    • Player: Babies are born without kneecaps. They don't appear until the child reaches 2-6 years of age.
    • Player: If one places a tiny amount of liquor on a scorpion, it will instantly go mad and sting itself to death.
    • Player: Reindeer like to eat bananas.
    • Player: Camels have three eyelids to protect themselves from blowing sand!
    • Player: A spider has transparent blood.
    • Player: A cat has 32 muscles in each ear.
    • Player: Bees have 5 eyes. There are 3 small eyes on the top of a bee's head and 2 larger ones in front.
    • Player: The longest recorded flight of a chicken is thirteen seconds.
    • Player: All polar bears are left-handed.
    • Player: Bats always turn left when exiting a cave.
    • Player: A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.
    • Player: Butterflies taste with their hind feet.
    • Player: Cats have over one hundred vocal sounds, while dogs only have about ten.
  • Effy: Mmmmmm, tasty knowledge!

  • Effy: Are you really, really sure you know want to know?
  • Player: Absolutely! The lore community will go wild!
  • Effy: If you insist. An ancient effigy is...

    • Effy: A dragonkin egg, boiled.
    • Effy: A dirty snowglobe.
    • Effy: The brain of a dragonkin.
    • Effy: All I know is that you shouldn't feed one after midnight.
    • Effy: A stored memory of the dragonkin homeworld.
    • Effy: A bath bomb for dragons.
    • Effy: Older than a young effigy.
    • Effy: Strisath's gobstopper.
    • Effy: Kerapac's paper-weights.
    • Effy: An Elder finger-food.
    • Effy: The dragonkin equivalent of a notebook.
    • Effy: A chocolate egg with a toy inside.
    • Effy: A souvenir from Kerapac's lab.
    • Effy: Fossilised dragon tears.
    • Effy: A ploy from dragonkin to get people talking to each other.
    • Effy: Not sure, but every time you use one, a dragonkin gets its wings.
    • Effy: A dragonkin urn. Every time you mine a dragonkin, it fills up.
    • Effy: A trophy for anyone who can complete Elemental Workshop III without a guide.
    • Effy: A baby Stone of Jas.
    • Effy: A gall stone from the Queen Black Dragon.
    • Effy: A bead from a dragon impling.
    • Effy: A sculpture made from salty adventurers.

  • Player: I'm starting to think you're a compulsive liar. Is anything you've said to me true?
    • (One of these lines is randomly said)
    • Effy: No.
    • Effy: Nah.
    • Effy: No?
    • Effy: Nope.
    • Effy: Nooooo.
    • Effy: No...
    • Effy: Yes! Acutally, no.
    • Effy: I was telling the truth when I said I was hungry. And I will SOMETIMES tell you the truth about what an ancient effigy is.
  • Player: Oh! Righty-ho then.
