    • Who are you?
      • Player: Who are you?
      • Easty: I'm Associate Easty. Acting Guildmaster Reiniger assigned me to assist you with the monolith.
      • Easty: I can keep hold of any relics you've discovered, until you are ready to offer them to the monolith. I will also happily assist you with any monolith research we uncover.

    • What are you doing here?
      • Player: What are you doing here?
      • Easty: Watching over the monolith of course!
      • Easty: You're more than welcome to use it, though, Player. I've been made aware of the odd connection you have with it. Mostly, I'm here to keep the other archaeologists away, to keep them safe. Only you seem to have a connection with it so far, so we need to be careful.
      • Easty: That being sad, you're still going to need to throw some chronotes my way if you want to make use of it.
      • Player: Why?
      • Easty: We need to make sure the guild stay[sic] afloat somehow, am I right? Also, I'm not an intern.

        • Can you tell me more about the monolith?
          • Player: Can you tell me more about the monolith?
          • Easty: You've had more of a connection with it than I have. I daren't touch it, not after what happened to Guildmaster Tony.
          • Player: What did happen to Tony?
          • Easty: Ah, yes! No one really knows, for sure. He was always very hands on, even as Guildmaster. He took it upon himself to research the monolith, alone, after it activated.
          • Easty: Then, one day, there was a commotion from it and the only thing left of Tony was his old mattock, which we locked away in his office for safekeeping.
          • Player: Do you know how the monolith activated?
          • Easty: Ah, yes! That's something else we don't know... One day, it was just a dormant hunk of stone that nobody was paying attention to anymore - more interesting recent finds, you see?
          • Easty: Then the next day, we awoke and it was stood impossibly upright, floating and bobbling and twisting in the unnerving way it's doing behind me right now.
          • Player: Is there anything you DO know?
          • Easty: Ah! Well, what we do know is that the monolith gave off a burst of energy that morning after it first opened up. We've seen a bunch of what we're calling time sprites flying about around excavations. Those are what led us to set up each of our dig sites.
          • Easty: We even tracked some time sprites flying off in the direction of Anachronia, but they haven't landed up there yet. It'll be to do with the strange time distortion going on over there, but they should land eventually.
          • Easty: It's almost as if the monolith has an interesting in some very specific relics from our past, like it's sending out feelers. Relics like you one you offered to it.[sic]
          • Easty: If you stumble across any more relics on your journey to become a master archeologist, you'll want to make sure you bring it back here and see if the monolith is interested.
          • Easty: We figure it's the only way we're going to figure out what this thing actually is...and hopefully get Tony back too, while we're at it.

        • Can you explain relic powers to me?
          • Player: Can you explain relic powers to me?
          • Easty: From what we can gather, the monolith consumes each relic offered to it, but draws the inherent quality or essence of the relic into it as powers.
          • Easty: These powers can then be harnessed by tapping into the monolith's internal energy source. Well, you can do that, at least. No one else.
          • Easty: The monolith seems to have a limit of energy that it can exert, and certain powers require a greater amount of its pool of power than others.
          • Easty: There might be a way to tap into more of the monolith's reserves, but I'm not too sure. We'll need to do some research.
          • Easty: At least, that's how it looks to me, from what I've seen so far.

          • Player: Do you have any relics?
          • (If no relics have been lost:)
            • Easty: Not at the moment, but if you lose any relics, come see me.
