  • Count Yakula: BaroooOOOoooOOOooo...
  • Player: Ahhh! It's a spooky looking yak!
  • Count Yakula: Do take care in whom you are calling spooky as you are most likely to cause offence.
  • Player: Ahhh! It can talk!?
  • Count Yakula: Yes, human. I can talk. And quite frankly I do not take too kindly to your surprise.
  • Player: I'm sorry.
  • Count Yakula: Worry not, Count Yakula is not known to hold a grudge.
  • Player: Uh... Thanks! I'm the world guardian, Player! Pleasure to meet you.

      • Player: How does the Yak Track work?
      • Count Yakula: Ah, the Yak Track! It's an opportunity to go on an adventure with your very own yak and earn many rewards along the way! Simply put, you can complete tasks to progress along the track. You will be given a choice between two tasks at a time, but you only need to complete one of them to progress. If you don't fancy doing either of them then you can use a task skip to move on. As you progress along the track you will earn rewards; Premier Club members and those who have purchased a Premier Pass will earn additional premium rewards. If you purchase a Premier Pass you will receive any premium rewards you would have been eligible for.
      • Player: Sounds great!

      • Count Yakula: But you are a human.
      • Player: Okay, I get your point.
      • (Returns to the previous options.)
    • How did you become an undead yak count?
      • Player: How did you become an undead yak count?
      • Count Yakula: Now that is a tale for the ages. Long ago there was a well respected nobleman. He was a a philanthropist, sharing his wealth with those less fortunate, ensuring everyone was fed and clothed. And I, I was his leading workyak. Words of his good deeds had spread throughout the land and he was to be granted the title of count for his generosity. The preparations were put in place and the final step was a simple signature to make it all official. However, before his signature was taken a great tragedy occurred. While out on one of our excursions we were ambushed by a group of vampyres. He was lucky enough to make it out unscathed, I however was not so fortunate. I succumbed to my wounds and a terrible curse befell me. Day by day I found myself growing weaker. My body began to decay and my mind no longer felt like it was my own. But no matter how far I fell, no matter how much I suffered, death would not take me. The yak doctors tried their hardest, they poked and prodded me, gave me salve after salve of medicine but in the end there was naught they could do. The nobleman, stricken with grief, knew what had to be done, however he was unable to do it himself. With the help of the doctors he drafted a letter to the local vampyre hunters. He knew the curse would not grant me a release but these specialists could bring an end to my suffering. However, there was a mix up. Somehow his name made it onto the elimination request to the hunters. And my name was passed on to the royalty to become count.
      • Player: Oh...
      • Count Yakula: It is said that grief has a great effect on the mind. And in this case one simple error had such costly consequences...
      • Player ...
      • Count Yakula: But alas, a lot of time has passed since then. Although I continue to suffer each and every day, I have become accustomed to the pain.
      • Player: I'm really sorry. Hopefully someday we'll be able to find a cure...
      • Count Yakula: Hopefully doth butter no parsnips. But I do appreciate the kind sentiment.
      • Player: Is this what led to you opening up the yak track?
      • Count Yakula: In essence, yes. Although I sadly cannot remember his name, I can remember his heart. My body is weary and broken and I can no longer carry what I used to, but it is time for me to pass on the torch. Uniting new pairs of adventurers and yaks, forging new bonds through adventure. That's what the yak track is all about.
      • Player: That's a beautiful thought. We'll do our best to carry your legacy!
      • Count Yakula: Thank you.
      • (Returns to the previous options.)
    • Bye!
      • Player: Bye!
      • Count Yakula: Goodbye.
