This transcript involves dialogue with Col. O'Niall and the player.
Before Sea Slug[edit | edit source]
- Player: Hello there.
- Col. O'Niall: Hello. What can I do for you?
- Player: Oh, I'm just wondering what you're doing.
- Col. O'Niall: A spot of fishing.
- Player: That doesn't look much like a fishing rod.
- Col. O'Niall: That my friend, depends on what you're fishing for.
- Player: And what would that be?
- Col. O'Niall: A little of this, a little of that; the usual things.
- Player: Have you caught much?
- Col. O'Niall: The odd bite here and there. Hmm.
- Player: What?
- Col. O'Niall: You look like a capable lad. Tell you what, when you've got a bit more experience under your belt, get yourself over to Falador.
- Player: What's in Falador?
- Col. O'Niall: An old friend of mine. You'll find him sitting on a bench in Falador Park. See what he can do for you.
- Player: What's his name? Who should I say sent me?
- Col. O'Niall: None of that matters if you can find him and if you're ready my name isn't necessary.
- Player: Oh right. I'll get going then. Goodbye.
- Col. O'Niall: Goodbye and good luck.
After Wanted!, before The Slug Menace[edit | edit source]
- Player: Hello there.
- Col. O'Niall: Ah hello, Player. Good to see you.
- Player: Um, how do you know my name?
- Col. O'Niall: By reputation. I heard about what you did with Solus Dellagar; good job.
- Player: But but but, that was classified! How can you possibly know that?
- Col. O'Niall: I have my contacts.
- Player: You're one of the Black Knights, aren't you?
- Col. O'Niall: Don't be silly, boy. If I was a Black Knight, do you really think I'd be just sitting here?
- Player: Well, I don't know.
- Col. O'Niall: I'd be looting your gear before you landed in Lumbridge my boy.
- Player: Hmm. Who are you, really?
- Col. O'Niall: Oh, I'm sure you'll find out eventually. Let's just say that for the moment that information is beyond your means.
- Player: You're very cryptic, aren't you?
- Col. O'Niall: I need to be, it's how I've stayed alive this long.
- Player: But...
- Col. O'Niall: That's enough for now. I'm sure we'll speak again sometime soon.
- Player: But...
- Col. O'Niall: Goodbye, Player.
- Player: Sigh, see you soon.
