  • Player: What's the problem? I may be able to help.
  • Bill Teach: I dunno, lad, I need a pirate to help me with my problem, but none will sail with me. Well, ye look like ye might have the right stuff, tell me would ye like te be a pirate?

        • Player: Not yet, but I was going to!
        • Bill Teach: Then no, lad, ye can't help with my problem.

    • No thanks, it sounds quite dangerous.
      • Player: No thanks, it sounds quite dangerous.

After Cabin Fever[edit | edit source]

First time speaking after Cabin Fever

  • Player: Can I have that gold now?
  • Bill Teach: Sure ye can. Here.

If the player has lost their book of piracy

  • Player: I lost the book that Bill gave me.
  • Bill Teach: He warned me ye be a squid-fingered jellyfish of a pirate. If I gets ye another copy will ye keep a better eye on it?
  • Player: Yarp?
  • Bill Teach: Then here, have this other copy I dug up.

1. Speak about Rocking Out.

  • Bill Teach: That cage turned up in my pack last night, Player. It scared me silly!
  • Player: Wow, it must be magical!
  • Bill Teach: Take it back, lad. I fear it might be somethin' fer an adventurin' soul like you.
  • (Bill Teach hands you the magical cage)
  • (The next dialogue takes place when you own the magical cage)
  • Player: Now that I know what this is all about, what should I do?
  • Bill Teach: I don't know. I suppose we wait te see what he does next.
  • Player: I can't accept that. He could cause some real trouble next time.
  • Bill Teach: Well, I'm sure ye'll come up with somethin'.

2. Speak about A Clockwork Syringe.

  • Bill Teach: There be a storm brewin', Player. I hope I can count on ye when we come te weather it.

3. Talk about something else.

  • Player: Cap'n, I lost that book you gave me.
  • Bill Teach: Ye'll notice I'm not fallin' to the floor in shock right now.
  • Bill Teach: Look, if I gives ye another copy will ye keep a better eye on it?
  • Player: Aye Cap'n!
  • Bill Teach: Then here, have this other copy I dug up.

(If you already have the book o' piracy, only the next line will show up)

  • Bill Teach: If yer after a lift go to the ship and I'll take ye where ye want to go.

(If you are in the basement below the bar in Mos'Le Harmless, only the next line will show up)

  • Bill Teach: There be a storm brewin', Player. I hope I can count on ye when we come te weather it.
