Talking to Benedict[edit | edit source]

First time[edit | edit source]

While not using the NXT client

  • Benedict: I'm afraid my wispy eyes can't see well enough to see if you have a trustworthy face.
  • This content is only available through the NXT client.

While using the NXT client

  • Benedict: Greetings, Madam/Sir Player. My name is Benedict Encumberyak, and I am in search of a helpful adventurer. I have served my master since I was a mere pup. However, since I have grown old and wearisome, I have found myself in a bit of a pickle. I appear to have mislaid several of my master's possessions. I need to reclaim these before my master decides that I am a bother! What say you, Madam/Sir Player - will you help an old pack yak with this little favour?
    • Yes, I'd be happy to help[sic]
      • Benedict: Fabulous! I made a scrapbook of my sketches from my travels, I wonder if I dropped the items nearby. Please be thorough when searching the area!
      • Benedict Encumberyak hands you his scrapbook.
      • (returns to previous options)
    • What's in this for me?
      • Benedict: Well, Madam/Sir Player, my master has a tendency to find all manner of junk that he likes to keep around. He likes to make me carry around this junk, so I'd need to offload them onto you so I have space to take his missing possessions back. I hope you don't mind Madam/Sir Player, they're just these old dusty lamps. I'm sure they won't be missed!
      • Player: Useless dusty lamps, you say? I'd be happy to take those off of your hands!
        • (Returns to previous options)
    • Who is your master?
      • Benedict: Well, Madam/Sir Player, I have served my master since I was a young pup, and we pack yaks live for a long time. That's all I can say...
        • (Returns to previous options)
    • No, I don't have time for this!
      • Benedict: That is a shame, Madam/Sir Player. Please return to me if you do wish to help.
    • After agreeing to help
      • Good bye[sic]
        • Benedict: See you soon, Madam/Sir Player.

Item search[edit | edit source]

After finding some items[edit | edit source]

  • Benedict: Thank you Madam/Sir Player for finding some of my items, but there's still some left to collect. Could you please continue visiting the locations in my scrapbook to find my master's missing items?
    • Yes, I'd be happy to help[sic]
      • (Same as above)
    • What's in this for me?
      • (Same as above)
    • Who is your master?

  • Camera pans 360 degrees around scene
  • Benedict: Thank you Madam/Sir Player, onto[sic] the next location!
  • Benedict disappears

        • Benedict: I literally have thousands of them now because of foolish adventurers like you.
