After completing Cat's Bane[edit | edit source]

Without a catspeak amulet worn or in inventory:
- To talk to cats, you need a catspeak amulet. You can get one from Tiny Zemouregal in New Varrock square.
With a catspeak amulet in inventory:
- To talk to cats, you need to wear your catspeak amulet.
Wearing a catspeak amulet:
- Fraidy cat: Perhaps you are not such a fool, human. The Necrofelinominom^[sic] is too powerful, and now in safer paws than mine - those of my new owner, Gertrude.
