A thigat staff is an item that can only be obtained and used while in Daemonheim. It is produced using the Fletching skill. Like most staves in Daemonheim, it provides all elemental runes when equipped.
Although the Thigat staff is a free-to-play item and arguably the best free-to-play staff for Dungeoneering, it cannot be obtained by free players as thigat weapons cannot be fletched on free to-play worlds, and the staff isn't dropped by any monster. However, former and current members may use a bound thigat staff on free-to-play worlds.
Alternatives for free players who haven't been a member before can include dual wielding a thigat wand and soulbell orb, providing the player with all elemental runes along with both items being obtainable through boss drops. In addition, free players may also obtain the empowered earth staff through a boss drop; however, this is less optimal as the staff only provides infinite earth runes instead of all elemental runes, hindering its usage for combat spells.
