Everything?[edit source]

Do we really want to add mundane objects like this to navboxes and city templates? Consistency would also imply the inclusion of the spinning wheel, pottery ovens and wheels, furnace, ... IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 13:09, December 30, 2014 (UTC)

There are only four looms in the game, while there are much more spinning wheels, pottery ovens/wheels, furnaces, etc. That's why I added the loom because it's rare. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 13:14, December 30, 2014 (UTC)
There may be few of them, but that doesn't really make them exceptional. Of course Prifddinas should be listed amongst the locations that have one, but including it in the template about the city is overkill. As for amounts: 4 looms vs 8 pottery ovens or vs 6 sandpits, the difference is neglegible to use this as an argument to include one and not the other. Ignore the above, I was in a bad mood yesterday. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 12:25, December 31, 2014 (UTC)

Split off into clans?[edit source]

People have pointed out that the template is getting too big. Maybe the template should be split off into clans with this main template keeping the general information like the Tower of Voices and music tracks and such. Any thoughts? If there is a way to make the template smaller, I'm all for it. Most of the articles included in the template at this time, do have a reason for being there. All currently listed NPCs (perhaps apart from the Trahaern automata) actually appear in Prifddinas, so while they could also be part of a navbox purely for their clan, I don't see a problem with them being in this template. I would opt to remove the whole "Items" block: sure they are obtained in Prifddinas, but are not really 'part' of it. In the "Other" block, I'd remove the emotes and am unsure about the harmonised rocks (at least separately, perhaps move "harmonised rock" as one link in the Other subsection). If it's going to be split off into clan navboxes then the emotes will go to the Hefin one and the seperate harmonised rocks will go to the Trahaearn for instance. But if the NPCs are already mentioned at their respective clan I see no reason why they would remain on this template too, because there will be a link to all clans. Alternatively there could be a seperate items navbox instead of splitting it into clans. Which would be better seperate clans or items split off? I might not have fully understood your original suggestion; if we extract all clan-specific articles from the current Prifddinas navbox into separate clan navboxes, the Prifddinas navbox would be very small (which certaintly isn't actually a bad thing/issue), but wouldn't that also imply that the Prifddinas article gets 9 navboxes at the bottom of the article? Unless we limit the NPCs in this template to the main ones (a very fine line to decide who gets to stay and who doesn't) instead of simply removing them all, and include all NPCs/features of a clan only in their clan template (making the Prifddinas template still the main/only one for the city).
