This article is about the disciple of Amascut. For the book, see Tefnut, Disciple of Amascut.

Tefnut is or was a disciple of Amascut. In a book, he recounts his childhood. He also claims that Amascut had given him knowledge of a truth that she has "sacrificed so much for" and that an unspecified "we" are the "twisted, miscarried dream of a blighted god" and an "abomination".[1]

"Sometimes I regret the knowledge that my goddess has granted me, but I cannot turn away from the truth which she sacrificed so much for. All the beauty in this world is a lie. We are nothing but the twisted, miscarried dream of a blighted god. We are an abomination. We have always been an abomination. If we continue, what else could we ever hope to be?"
