Talon beasts are level 77 Summoning familiars. They are the Summoning equivalent of nail beasts, in that they look similar, attack with a loud screeching sound, and belong to the feline family. Like the nail beast, it hits three times in one attack. Each of these hits can hit up to 1008 for a maximum hit of 3024, making the talon beast an excellent Damage Per Second (DPS) familiar. However, it's important to note its hit chance is lower than both a steel titan and ripper demon, so at most boss encounters and slayer monsters it will underperform.
Its maximum hit is 1008, and its minimum hit is 20% of maximum hit, which is 201. So an average hit is 604. However, the talon beast hits three times every auto attack, so it's actually 1812 average damage every auto attack rotation. Because the Talon beast hits every 8 ticks, divide the amount of total ticks in a minute (100) by 8, resulting in 12.5 auto rotations per minute. Now, multiply 1812 by 12.5 for a total of 22650 damage every minute on average.
