Red link turned blue[edit source]

Just to get rid of that ugly red link under rare drops, i am simply linking the half of dragon shield to the full dragon shield page, but I will put half of shield in brackets next to the link.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Watermage448 (talk) on 19:05, 22 November 2006 (UTC).

It's better to have red links - it prompts people into making the linked articles. The site is, essentially, unfinished - aesthetics can come after completion. Once the site is finished, it will be a blue link anyway. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 19:41, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Male and female zombies[edit source]

If you look closely, you will notice that some zombies were once men, while others were once woman. Shouldn't we have picks of both, as there are several different appearances for the zombies? --Wiiwantxbox 23:08, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Becoming a Zombie[edit source]

Cannot some people become Zombies under certain conditions? I've been looking for an article on this.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.244.60.207 (talk) on 03:32, 28 October 2007 (UTC).

As far as I know, no. But players can look like zombies when wearing the zombie clothes. Dragon medium helm! Whaddaya know?Chiafriend12Better than rune!I have 12 friends. 05:56, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Locations[edit source]

These should be added.

There are also zombies at varrock sewers.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 91.155.61.177 (talk) on 19:55, 8 April 2008 (UTC).

And also at the Wizard's Guild.

Skull Spectre Piece?[edit source]

Can someone go the Stronghold Of Security and kill Zombies on the 2nd floor for the bottom of spectre? I'm pretty sure they drop it. Zaptowin9999 07:49, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

No. Skull sceptre pieces are only dropped by the 4 creatures only found in the stronghold - Minotaur, Flesh crawlers, Catablepon and Ankou. No other monster drops the parts. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 20:26, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Request: Zombie (random event) article[edit source]

I think the zombie that is the result of the Random event deserves to have its own article. Can someone rearrange this please? Wejer 10:22, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

The Zombie (random event) is what you are thinking of, incidentally Zombie should be removed from Category:Random events and Category:Discontinued random events Xatomeki 03:51, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

No level 14 zombies?[edit source]

I've never seen a level 14 zombie anywhere on RuneScape. I can't find a mention of one in the Jagex's Knowledge Base. A web search only turns up a very few unreliable mentions of a level 14 zombie -- mostly it seems some newbie's report of getting killed the first time they went into the Varrock Sewers.

I think level 14 zombie is probably a mistake for the level 13 zombie. Inelcirc 19:02, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Never mind, I figured it out. Level 14 is the random event zombie for low-level players! Inelcirc 19:07, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Champion Scroll[edit source]

Do higher leveled zombies have higher chances of dropping the scrolls? The page recommends armored zombies, but if they have the same chances as level 18 ones...--Armadyl HelmLong Live ArmadylArmadyl Helm 01:39, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Also, according to the article, zombies have higher champion scroll drop rates than other monsters. Is this accurate?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.11.254 (talk) on 21:36, 29 November 2009 (UTC).

Fishing Bait[edit source]

Someone updated the page saying that zombies no longer drop fishing bait? Confirmation?--Armadyl HelmLong Live ArmadylArmadyl Helm 20:12, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Lies. A rotting corpse without maggots? Not in Gielinor! Tokkul detail.png Inhaps talk 20:28, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Level 18 zombies in Edgeville Dungeon[edit source]

I think the level 18 zombies in the Edgeville Dungeon, at least by the slayer master there, do not drop anything except bones. That's been my experience. If other players can confirm this, the drops section of the article should be revised to note this. Inelcirc 15:31, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

I've been pounding these zombies off and on since April and never a drop other than bones. I'll mention this in the article. Inelcirc 22:02, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

Slayer subsitutes[edit source]

This article says all zombie-class monsters can be slain for a 'zombie' slayer assignment, including zombie monkeys and zogres. The Slayer assignment article says zombie monkeys and zogres don't count toward such an assignment. Which is it? (There's nothing in Jagex game guide/knowledge base about what counts for such an assignment.) One of these two articles needs to be corrected. Inelcirc 21:35, December 6, 2010 (UTC)

tarn's lair[edit source]

Have been hunting zombies in tarn's lair. got some drops that aren't listed: -super ranging potion (3) -rune nails 3 -pure essence 14 (noted) -black nails 8 -adamant plateskirt -mithril full helm -mithril dart 3 -mithril 2h sword -cup of tea -magic logs 1 -steel warhammer -adamant scimitar -law rune 6 -steel longsword -death rune 4 -steel warhammer -hard leather 2 -leather boots -mithril dagger and other shit

honestly the drops feel identical to osrsw:Zombie (Lair of Tarn Razorlor), if anyone got time on their hands, these zombies could use their own page.

btw, stayed there for 4 hours at a 3 zombie spot. didnt get a single compost potion.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 78.56.43.238 (talk) on 11:07, 12 March 2017 (UTC).

Hey, I've had a similiar experience there so I decided to catalog their drops and interestingly I didn't receive any compost potions there despite spending quite some time there, hopefully someone can shed some light about if anything has changed etc. May remove this drop until proven otherwise 6-8 hours trying to obtain a "common" drop seems very bizarre and I camped all varieties of the zombies there. Lebdestroyer (talk) 16:04, May 4, 2018 (UTC)

Went back a few more times to double/triple check for many more hours and had the same findings as the user above. Some drops in that dungeon behave in an odd manner such as steel bolts p+ from skeletons reverting to their post EOC form and a bizarre full weapon poison vial with no doses and the same graphic as the weapon poison (4) which has the examine stating that this is able to be used on bolts and arrows and once clicked on becomes a regular weapon poison (3) and behaves to current EOC mannerisms. I wouldn't be surprised if this drop was removed if it even existed in the first place or became bugged similiar to the Mature Grotworm bug mentioned in the patch notes of 8th May 2018 Lebdestroyer (talk) 17:23, May 11, 2018 (UTC)
