If you completed the last Yak Track, you get a 50% progress boost for the tasks.Kodirodio (talk) 14:32, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Play RuneScape tasks[edit source]

I'm not sure if the description is correct. Have been killing and skilling all day and my progress has taken a lot longer than a point every three minutes Armadyl the GoodAnastasious, Feal to Armadyl (Talk)Armadyl the True 10:23, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

I think some activities may be excluded. I spent 20 minutes doing Shattered Worlds for example and didn't progress on this task Armadyl the GoodAnastasious, Feal to Armadyl (Talk)Armadyl the True 10:24, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

Task 23[edit source]

I'm maxed, and for my task 23 the Dungeoneering task was to complete 9 floors, not 11. Did anyone else get a different number? Pet cat (purple) chathead.png WiggleCat Meow! 16:40, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Members Task 42[edit source]

At 123,704,574 Arch xp, I received a task to obtain 1,288,625 Arch xp for task 42. This number is different than the number shown for max players. Does the task possibly scale past lvl 120 into virtual levels or xp?- RSN Thaxy 2600:6C65:767F:D594:A080:E95D:4BB6:9EC6 19:56, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Kill Monsters[edit source]

I saw the Lumbridge Catacombs with aggression potion suggestion on Reddit. Gave it a try but I'm getting a much faster kill count in the Stronghold of Security, floor 3 (Pit of Pestilence), on the Spiders (lvl 15) and Giant Spiders (lvl 39) using Nox Scythe & Aggroverload. Making use of Hurricane and Quake I'm getting around 150 kills per 5 minutes of potion.

While most Arc resources don't count (i.e. fishing for Wobbegongs etc) Death Lotus Rogues registered for 'Kill Monsters' so I assume all the rest will.

Also, skilling there does work for 'Runepoints' tasks.

Herblore potions[edit source]

The section about herblore (https://runescape.wiki/w/Yak_to_the_Shadows#Herblore) contains a lot of potions that are not in the game tooltip concerning herblore challenge. For example, in the herblore section there are vulnerability bombs and I can confirm that they do not give progress towards this Yak-track challenge (at least not the challenge number 12 of Yak to the Shadows). Are the sections general to all Yak Tracks and vuln bombs might have worked previously or on later tasks? SausageThrow (talk) 02:02, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

That was my fault. I added them because I noticed bombs were missing from the list. I'll go ahead and remove them. The supreme overload variants are also missing, while the elders are not. I recall from the first Yak Track that combination potions of any type did not work. Has that changed? Pet cat (purple) chathead.png WiggleCat Meow! 02:11, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

I'm not sure about every combination potions, but both spiritual prayer potion and elder overloads count towards the task (they are on the ingame tooltip) while holy overload and supreme overload do not count (not on the tooltip). Their inclusion of only some combination potions is confusing. SausageThrow (talk) 02:24, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

I've checked the list now at 116 Herblore. The potions listed by the interface are now in the requirement section. Please do not make assumptions what might count and what might not; almost all skills have disrepancies, and they don't even anymore claim that everything above some level would count. If there is something that counts but is not listed in the interface, it should be clearly explained in the requirement section. For instance in Crafting section there are a whole bunch of viable items not listed in the interface. Thingummywut (talk) 11:24, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
Yes, I know. It was an error on my part and I shouldn't have assumed, especially since I know that they didn't work on previous Tracks. I find it curious though that they've completely excluded The Arc from this Yak Track. You used to be able to fish wobblegongs and cut bamboo but those aren't options this time around. Pet cat (purple) chathead.png WiggleCat Meow! 14:29, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
Not quite. I think the whitelisted items are still largely the same: wobbegongs never did count for Fishing tasks, while chopping bamboo and golden bamboo have always counted and still do. Thingummywut (talk) 19:44, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
