I would have to disagree that Korvak invented this word. Rather, he must have encountered someone who speaks Dutch or Afrikaans while in the Abyss. Both languages have the word "Ja-nee" which has a similar meaning as defined in the article, but is generally somewhat difficult to translate to English. Zang! talk 18:27, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think that Korvak had ever visited Holland and Africa. But based on his speech, it is assumed that he came with the word in English, even though someone might have invented "Ja-nee" in Dutch or Afrikaans. 01:47, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
When you ask about him knowing whether he's insane or not, what you say is almost word for word a quote from catch-22. Is this the type of thing that goes into trivia?
It says in the wikipedia article that the betrayer is the Runescape player, who helped to triangulate the Rune Essence Mine. But this isn't correct. I haven't done the Abyss miniquest, yet Korvak has already been betrayed -meaning the betrayer must be someone else.
Only if Korvak were to change in demeanor between before and after the Runescape player has done the Abyss miniquest, would it be legitimate to say the Runescape player is the traitor.
in the christmas event, when you come to talk to korvak, the player makes a mistake and calls him "korvac" anybody care to fix this? Zack 1135 19:27, December 22, 2011 (UTC)
- We can't fix it, we're not Jagex. Try sending a bug report to them. ɳex undique 19:29, December 22, 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry. Didn't mean to say "fix it". What I meant was to add it in, since I have no idea how to approach this. Sorry for the confusion.Zack 1135 19:30, December 22, 2011 (UTC)
