Talk:Water altar
When did it ever...[edit source]
- Like others altars, the water altar's inside is the past of the water altar's outside. That means that Lumbridge Swamp was in past a sea.
That's posted in the trivia; when did it ever mention that? It's also not posted in any of the other altar pages about it being the past or something... FerrelShadow

That's nothing more than player speculation, and in my opinion it's a stupid theory. I'm removing it. ~ Sentry Telos Talk 00:08, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
so with that theory, near the duel arena was once a volcano, northwest of varrock was swallowed in a cave and a hill shrunk down to nothing near barbarian village?
In the same thinking, at goblin's village was a brain-shaped fortress, a maze was extended in the southern wilderness, in the temple of light was a room full of ghosts and under meyerditch was a blood lake?
Also, a giant heart in the middle of nowhere and the cosmic altar magically landed in Zanaris... not to mention that entrana was a huuge cave with a law sign in it...
With that theory, only the nature altar makes sense...
Which bank is faster?[edit source]
I tested it and found that draynor bank is much faster. It took me 1 minute and 16 seconds to walk to the draynor bank and 1 minute and 42 seconds to walk to the lumbridge bank from the same spot outside of the water altar.
Trollweisses[edit source]
Well i see no picking option in free-to-play server, so does this option come in members, perhaps? Should change this info to trivia there, in case this even isn't possible anymore, eh?
