Never seen listed drops[edit source]

Hi, are we SURE that a Vyrelady drops an effigy? Vyrelords do not... I've probably killed over 1000 vyreladys and vyrelords training and I've never got an effigy. Perhaps this is an error on the page? I know the weaker Vyrewatch (level 128) do drop effigies but I'm not sure if Vyreladys DO whilst Vyrelords do NOT.

I've killed a good...5k vyres, both genders, and never recieved half the herb drops, let alone the Effigy.
Come on, I know you can sign... and I have the same experience, although I didn´t kill 500 just yet. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. Merge charm logs?[edit source]

Based on their drops I'd say vyrelords and vyreladies are fairly identical when it comes to the drop table. Would it be safe to fuse their charm logs together? They're pretty much the exact same creature with different names and barely different stats. Law rune.png Samberen Nature rune.png 10:49, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

I would even say it's safe to merge both articles completely, since their so similar. I mean even goblins of different levels and look share the same page. These two (vyrelords/ladies) are the same, except for their ascribed sex. . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. I respectfully disagree on your idea of merging both the Vyrelord and Vyrelady articles together per our granularity policy. As stated under the Monster Granularity section, "Different named monsters must have different articles", so even though Vyrelords and Vyreladies are similar to each other in terms of drops and levels, they are still two completely different monsters (not only by name, but by appearance and dialogue), so they should remain separate. I'm very late to the discussion, but perhaps it can be revived. Personally, I think that separation of the two articles is more harmful to the wiki than anything, and the granularity rule, while it has a lot of merit, seems to me like a very hard-nosed and silly reason to keep these particular articles separate. From fighting them, I would fairly confidently say that their drops are identical; not just similar. Their levels, locations, dialogue, and examine text are also identical. And although their appearance differs, that is the case for MANY creatures/humanoids in Runescape. Also, "lady" is, for all intents and purposes (especially based on context), definitionally identical to "lord" but for females (just Jagex trying to be considerate or politically correct). There are some articles that contain different versions of same-named creatures, whilst those versions have different drop tables, e.g. cave crawlers, which is harmful to organization and confusing to anyone researching slayer/training targets and loot drops (I also recall some pages simply mentioning a difference, without adding a separate table). Meanwhile, Vyrelords/ladies seem identical in every respect aside from their gender, which is simply properly reflected in their title. So there is no meaningful reason to distinguish one from the other in terms of someone wanting to look up information about them, which is the purpose for the wiki. It just doesn't seem harmful to me at all; it would only be beneficial as far as I can tell. XtremeHairball (talk) 05:57, August 1, 2017 (UTC)

Drops[edit source]

they drop gems too, and javelins. - they are not listed as drops in the article, however. 20:53, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

How many? What type? What's their rarity? Are you sure they're not from the rare drop table? --Iiii I I I 20:56, November 18, 2017 (UTC)
I don't have statistics, I'm merely mentioning this to make people aware that the drop list is incomplete... As of now, I have received a noted 1 rune helm, 1noted rune pickaxe (and 1 unnoted), 5x rune javelins, 8x noted adamantite ore, noted rubies, unnoted sapphires. I will update this discussion when I have more information. 21:02, November 18, 2017 (UTC)
Those are from columbarium table. 67 kc vitalismanhattan'Ironman btw 21:42, November 18, 2017 (UTC)
so killing vyreladies and vyrelords with sunspear activates the columbarium table? I must have overlooked this somewhere, sorry for the confusion. 22:08, November 18, 2017 (UTC)
