Volatile Fletching knife[edit source]

Tested the volatile fletching knife out a bit (@ 65/66 lvl fletching)

bow type standard exp exp with volatile fletching knife bonus in %
normal longbow 10 15,7 57
oak shortbow 16,5 26,1 58
oak longbow 25 39,5 58
willow shortbow 33 52,5 59
willow longbow 41,5 65,7 58
maple shortbow 50 79,1 58
maple longbow 58,2 92,1 58
yew shortbow 67,5 111,3 64

The fletching level does not seem to have an impact to the xp bonus. I got 1113 xp for 10 yew shorts at fletching 65 and 66. It would be nice if someone could test this with higher level bows.

Tested the knife, originally a yew long is 75 xp, I got 119, a 59% bonus. I am thinking, perhaps the bonus depends on how many times you have transformed it? DTwizy

Volatile Hatchet[edit source]

Tested the volatile hatchet @ levels 53 ~ 60, wood cutting

tree type standard exp exp with volatile hatchet bonus in XP bonus in %
Normal 25 29 4 16.00
Oak 37.5 44.3 6.8 18.13
Willow 67.5 78.4 10.9 16.15
Teak 85 96.6 11.6 13.65
Maple 100 114.8 14.8 14.80
Yew 175 192 17 9.71

I will continue tests on some of the more exotic woods in the next couple of days. Thorius17 02:19, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm wondering if its worth using the hatchet if you've already got a dragon axe... ok, you might get fractionally more experience per log, but if the d axe is even just a little bit faster, then the d axe would be quicker at earning xp overall. Armcie

Well Jagex stated that the Dragon Axe is 25% faster than the rune axe, so if the volatile/morphic axe is as good as rune and gives more than a 25% bonus, then it would be worthwhile ;)--DTwizy 01:18, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Has anyone noticed an improvement in the hatchet? The day after release I was getting 176xp per yew with it (and that extra 1 may have been from wearing 2 lumberjack items). Now I'm getting 192 per yew without any lumberjack items. 20:04, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Harpoon[edit source]

Would the experience bonus stack with the Swordfish gloves to get a 133.3% xp bonus or is it 200xp + 33.3%? Billy Bomb7 16:24, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Hammer[edit source]

I'm currently smithing steel crossbow bolts (unf), and am making a total of 197% of the fabrication xp (is that a 97% bonus?, i forget) mayby the %age changes per type of metal.i'll investigate further. If you have any info or statistics, I'd love some more info, as im currently putting it through every theory and formula i know (my teacher estimates that at over 12,000, as i have a photographic and aural memory)--SmithingZilenserztalk! Ok, my Volatile hammer just reverted into the morphic version of the clay after about 60 uses (60 bars used, 60 items made), I've checked the xp it now gives, at its morphic, not volatile. Is this a bug or sumat, or is the fact that its volatile (unstable) mean that its meant to happen? the interesting thing is that they take up 2 bank spaces, so wonk go into the same bank space, implying they are different, althought they now work the exact same.--SmithingZilenserztalk! 110 exp per mithril bar, when smithing bolts with volatile hammer. Golduin 19:25, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Butterfly Net[edit source]

This only works as a regular butterfly net, so no catching implings with it, right? If it worked as a magic net, that would be much more useful... --Jimwormmaster 20:37, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I must happily inform you that the butterfly net is indeed able to catch implings. It has no visual for catching implings, you just walk up to them... and catch them or don't catch them Recive 17 November 2008

The below table is based on catching 10 of each butterfly.

Creature Name Hunt lvl Normal xp boosted xp additional xp
ruby harvest 15 24 28.5 4.5
sapphire glacialis 25 34 38.5 4.5
snowy knight 35 44 48.5 4.5
black warlock 45 54 58.5 4.5

The below table is based on catching 10 of each impling, and all experience values are for catching inside of Puro-Puro.

Creature Name Hunt lvl Normal xp boosted xp additional xp
baby impling 17 18 22.5 4.5
young impling 22 20 24.5 4.5
gourmet impling 28 22 26.5 4.5
earth impling 36 25 29.5 4.5
essence impling 42 27 32.5 5.5
eclectic impling 50 30 35.1 5.1
nature impling 58 34 39.3 5.3
magpie impling 65 44 48.5 4.5
ninja impling 74 50 ?? ??
pirate impling 76 57 ?? ??
dragon impling 83 65 ?? ??

It also seems to me that the essence or higher impling's boost xp fluctuates slightly... I may have accidentally caught other implings and that is why the xp isn't +4.5 each at essence + impling Recive

More old info[edit source]

There isn't anything on here about the latest updates and it still has all the old info. I'll probably update this page and a lot of the other Stealing Creation related pages this week unless someone beats me to it. Omegaplasma 10:35, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

New xp[edit source]

In case you didn't know, the volitile tools give 120% bonus, as stated in the FAQS in the forums. Thunder9092 18:25, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Trivia?[edit source]

Is this edit in the trivia edit section correct? I would try it, but I am non-member. ~MuzTalk 01:20, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

I think it is unlikely since the same user added a category saying that the item is gay.Unicorn horn dust.png Evil Yanks talk 01:27, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
