Exchange rate[edit source]

Not sure if its level based but:

  • 88 div = 1 credit per 1186 xp
  • 90 Smith = 1 credit per 1506 XP
  • 94 craft = 1 credit per 1498 xp
  • 96 Agile = 1 credit per 2103 xp
  • 96 herb = 1 credit per 1511 xp
  • 96 hunt = 1 credit per 1408 xp
  • 99 fletch = 1 credit per 1506 xp
  • 99 pray = 1 credit per 1521 xp

Also you can buy 200 credits before price increases. This is listed at 50% off.

Joining in, all at level 99, for one credit, at 50% off:
Att 1478 BXP, Consti 1478, Agil 2148, Smith 1506, Herb 1511, Fish 1492, Rang 1509, Pray 1521, Craft 1498, Firem 3525, Fletch 1506, RC 1519, Slay 1506, Farm 1485, Constr 1500, Hunt 1510, Sum 1514, Dg (@ level 119) 1496, Div 1480
What's with the massive amount for Agility and Firemaking in comparison to the rest? If only I knew earlier, I'd have saved all my prismatic stars for this promo... Need that golem outfit still; but no chance I'll get even close to 6,000 credits. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 15:08, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
So, it's better to have a lot of BXP in a low levelled skill...? Well that's just unfair. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 15:12, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
It's based on how often (this is conjecture) people, or likely average, place bonus experience in a given skill. It's also not really unfair when you consider lower levels gives less bonus experience overall. Ryan PM 15:33, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
At 120 Dungeoneering, the discounted exchange rate is also 1496. Maybe it caps at 99. --Saftzie (talk) 20:10, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
The rates I got were:
  • 68 pray = 750
  • 75 wood = 1229
  • 75 rune = 1125
  • 70 dung = 750
So it's definitely level-based. --99.135.160.46 20:37, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
I don't know how this works, but I'm getting 1 credit for every 3.5K bonus exp with 89 Firemaking. It's nothing but a huge ripoff. I can't believe this. 99.120.152.176 01:34, October 1, 2014 (UTC)
My rates from earlier haven't changed; but Firemaking and Agility use up way more bxp than the other skills... Even then, the number of credits/bxp is way too low to make any rewards properly viable... IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:21, October 1, 2014 (UTC)

99 Strength initially 1503 XP per credit --Jlun2 (talk) 22:32, October 2, 2014 (UTC)

99 Attack 1478/credit, 99 Mining 2227/credit, 99 woodcut 1498/credit, 99 fish 1492/credit. --Jlun2 (talk) 14:20, October 3, 2014 (UTC)

Exchange rate 2015[edit source]

Let's keep it on one talk page, at Talk:Vic's Store. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 15:08, April 13, 2015 (UTC)

The exchange rate is too low. :(  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 99.120.152.176 (talk) on 00:50, April 14, 2015 (UTC).

Incorrect info?[edit source]

The page says that Vic returned on 13 April 2015.....well that's today and he isn't at the location shown on the page (by the Burthrope bank). What's going on with Vic? Ericmacfa (talk) 01:10, April 14, 2015 (UTC)

Edit, he is in Burthrope but the screenshot on his page is wrong, he's to the East right next to the loadstone. Ericmacfa (talk) 01:14, April 14, 2015 (UTC)
The file has already been tagged as obsolete. When someone can make a replacement, it should be updated. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 03:49, April 14, 2015 (UTC)

The dialogue when you use a biscuit on Vic is a reference to an advert for Viscount biscuits: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3Z14rsetTI (0:00-0:29)
