Can this item be regained after the quest?

Why cant we whack other players with it:b
- What you're thinking of is the Rubber chicken. From what is learned from the quest, the Undead chicken is still -cough- alive, and when we attack, we use the bag the chicken's in. So why we can't "whack" other players with it is beyond me.
