I wish I knew we need 101 quest points to begin this quest[edit source]

"However, while he is celebrating he gets hit for 254 damage (which doesn't make the slightest dent on his health bar)."
I think the reason why it doesnt make the "slightest dent" in his health bar is because he really didnt die. His hp wasnt really affected. Jagex simply wrote a piece of code that displayed his hp when he got hit, and then he was put into the "death animation", thus preventing him from fighting during the battle.
If you've done the 2007 halloween event, you may know what i mean about the health bar..............--Pkthis 19:54, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Can't you reach the Colony with the Fairy Ring...do you really need to take the boat? Mora 05:39, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Drunken Dwarf??[edit source]
Do you still see the drunken dwarf in the cutscene during the quest even though he has become discontinued and does not give out kebabs any more?? [[File:]] User talk Evil Yanks Contribs [[File:]] 08:00, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Yes you do see him KOed by the wise old man.
Boost not possible[edit source]
Why does the guide say that boosts aren't possible to be used for the quest? I did it at level 62 magic... I just used a boost to enter the magic guild...00:55, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Spirit Kyatt[edit source]
Hey I summoned a spirit kyatt at the beginning of the quest to have easy teleports to the colony. When i was doing the part where i get the skeleton mages from the MM, I noticed the kyatt wasnt following me around, and more interestingly, it's timer wasn't going down (frozen at 24:30). After the quest, i called it, and it came back to me totally normally. But it's timer still wasn't going down. Obviously it's a glitch, but is it consistent or just a freak occurence? (after i logged out and back in again, it started going down normally again) - arkenemyste7
- It's not a freak occurrence, nor does it seem to be 100% consistent. I had it happen to me during the quest, too, but the timer started going again some time after the quest ended. (Different familiar, an obsidian golem.) It has also happened to me (more than half the time? I'm not sure) when exiting the Phoenix's Lair D&D. I entered it as a bug report some time back (concerning the Phoenix's Lair), and nothing seemed to happen, so maybe it is time to report it again. JalYt-Mej-Wynde 13:49, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
When Im at the part of the first troll attack, where the 7 lvl 79 trolls SHOULD spawn, only 3 do and i've waited for over 5 minutes and nothing comes! Is this a bug?
Explaining an undo[edit source]
In the page's history: "Undid revision 10181754 by SnowedEarth": I forgot to add the reason why: it was about no longer needing an apron after having done Falador Hard Tasks. However, as seen on https://runescape.wiki/w/Update:Patch_Notes_%284_February_2014%29 the Falador Task Set has nothing to do with the apron at all 12:12, March 4, 2014 (UTC)
Fishing Lvl[edit source]
Just tried to do the quest using admiral pies to boost the fishing level and it would not let me start due to not meeting the requirements. The fishing level is the only requirement I haven't met so I don't think it is possible to do the quest without at least the fishing level. Wizard12892 (talk) 05:07, March 26, 2018 (UTC)
Bones and iron bars[edit source]
The wiki incorrectly states these items can be obtained during the quest. Regarding the bones, it recommends keeping the bones of sea trolls that are killed. These are big bones and not regular bones. Only regular bones will work, so the sea troll bones will not work. Regular bones can be obtained when you visit Malignious Mortifer by killing 7 goblins west of Port Sarim or by entering the grotworm grotto and killing 7 small grotworms. Regarding the iron bars, you must bring 5 iron bars as the furnace in the colony will not allow you to withdraw bars, only ores.2601:CA:200:20FA:2108:A248:1C1A:70D1 23:29, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
