Untitled[edit source]

it give the same effect as a toffee apple it boost 1+ skill except sum/hitpoint/prayer

when you try to eat this you get this message

you feel the lasting effects of the sugar

the sugar makes you feel more skillful. ( boost skill 1+)

you can never have too many sugary treats... tight

The sugar was so nourishing you didn't to eat it all (when you try to eat the skull you get this message and it will NOT eat the skull)

Non-consumption rate[edit source]

can anyone confirm this has a good chance of not being consumed?

Out of five skulls I was able to eat a total of eleven times with 5 of them being non-consumptions. --Touhou FTW Zaros symbol.png 09:53, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

Number of the beast, 616 or 666?[edit source]

The number of the beast is 616, using your own "reference" given for the incorrect 666:

You'd have been right somewhat 10 years ago. Also, it doesn't really matter if people persist on ignorantly regarding the wrong number as fact to put it as trivia. It needs to be corrected. 20:10, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

666 is more well known as the number of the beast, so it stays. Also, read the intro of that wikipedia page... MolMan 20:11, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Only it is wrong. Also, read the link where it says you're wrong.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).
Whether the number is 666 or 616, Jagex made the value 666 because they believe that it is the number. That is all that matters in terms of the trivia statement. MolMan 20:18, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Not a matter of them believing, it's a matter of breeding ignorance (exactly what you're doing). Stop being a tard. Deleting the false information.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).

(Indentation reset) As of 21:56 UTC, 26 October 2012, this page has triggered the three-revert rule. The content at issue is as follows:

*This item's value of 666 is a reference to the Biblical "Number of the Beast".

Please discuss the relevance of this statement. Thanks,

I've had a look at the article, and both 616 and 666 are mentioned as being the number of the beast. In modern day culture however, it is generally assumed to be 666, probably due to the song Number of the Beast. Now from what I see Jagex has taken the more commonly accepted number and used it. Both 616 and 666 are the "Number of the beast", but as 666 is more commonly known Jagex chose to use it. Does this resolve the matter? What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 22:24, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

No, that point has been made and ignored. MolMan 22:25, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
I believe this explanation might have a bigger impact though. All you've said is "It's more commonly known as 666" without really explaining why What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 22:28, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
"Whether the number is 666 or 616, Jagex made the value 666 because they believe that it is the number. That is all that matters in terms of the trivia statement." MolMan 22:29, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Again, how does that explain why it's more commonly known as 666? It doesn't What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 22:31, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
It's not at all about whether the number is more commonly known as 666. It's whether or not Jagex used it for that reason. Can I just say I don't give a fuck about this anymore (after this post) MolMan 22:33, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

Is it not better to have a better explanation as to why something is than "X believes it"? Plus, I am trying to explain to the IP as well as you why they chose that number. Stop acting as if your reasoning is the only thing that is needed here What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 22:37, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

I don't see why the page is being locked down over this nonsense. There is nothing factually wrong with saying 666 is in reference to the number of the beast. is making the illogical jump that the comment is stating that the number of the beast is 666. Old Smithy (talk) 05:18, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Or we could just do what Jagex does and keep biblical topics off the page in general. Why does it matter what the item's number is? Keep you biblical and political views to yourself, kthxbai.

Haloplayer77 (talk) 05:23, October 27, 2012 (UTC)Forcedexile

just add "the value of this item is a reference to what is commonly believed to be the number of the beast" and stop all this pointless bickering. 09:59, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Just put a trivia at the bottom explaining that 666 is actually incorrect. God vivec1 (talk) 16:20, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

But it isn't, that's what the IP didn't understand What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 16:28, October 27, 2012 (UTC)
I have just read the wiki article, and you're right. If it's right, then I guess there isn't a reason for the paged to be locked down anymore? God vivec1 (talk) 16:34, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

One of the two editors who went past the three-revert rule has stopped caring about it, and the other has not been adding his or her viewpoint here.

There is no consensus yet, but as this article may need more information added to it, I will unprotect the article and add this content:

The value of this item is a reference to what is commonly believed to be the Number of the Beast – though that number is actually 616.

Remove completely. It's the most pointless thing and I regret ever giving two damns about it. MolMan 00:55, October 31, 2012 (UTC)

Resource Dungeons.[edit source]

"This is one of the only 2 items to boost Dungeoneering. The other beingToffee apple. This boost however does not have a known use."

Could this be used to get into resource dungeons? God vivec1 (talk) 22:23, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

im going to try. I have plenty of both the skulls and the apples. Heavyoak (talk) 00:37, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

I've just tried. the boost does not work, and you receive the same message Jagex named me Able Tis (talk) 00:36, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

I tried, ate a candy apple, went from 78 Dungeoneering to 80 Dungeoneering, still wasn't able to get into the brimhaven dragon resource dungeon Heavyoak (talk) 02:19, November 2, 2012 (UTC)
